I really didn't want to be right about the home invasion I suspected this was, but this all but confirms it. These are terrifying.

Pen light in the mouth.
Socks - while they can sometimes use socked feet prints to ID if they've walked in something like blood, with the socked feet you're making no noise and leaving no scuff-like prints
Right handed holster in a weird location for an out of waistband holder
To me the face looks like there's a mask over a mask. I'm not sold on facial hair/eyebrow situation at this point.

This is horrible.

The jacket looks lined. You can see the white long (or other sweater?) at the end of the sleeves

I hope they're looking at private flights in and out of small airports just across the border.

There is a video watching him move all around. Can someone post that or did someone?? It is on NBC?

It doesn’t seem like they were trying to cover the camera with the flowers to me. Tearing them off the door and showing to camera maybe?
As he tried to obscure the camera using the plant and flowers, he must have rung Nancy Guthrie's doorbell (inadvertently?) many times. When she went to the door, he must have punched her in the face, causingthe blood to be on her porch. Poor Nancy. What has he done to her, and where is she now? How frightened she had to have been.

He looks like a professional hitman.

  • #17,387
Slow and deliberate and pressing on. He knew what he was doing, was confident that even an unanticipated camera wouldn't stop him for long, and most importantly, that he had the virtual non-threat of an unsuspecting 84 year old woman inside. ☹️

JMO.
agree. has done this before.

If I was gonna rob someone’s house that had a secure metal gate and additional door in the front of the house along with lighting , I’m gonna choose a side or back door 1st. This is odd to me
He had to disable the cameras when exiting. Probably knew where the cameras were upfront. Couldn't be sure about the back or side cameras. That would explain the front door entry.

I did side by side of just the eyes of a previously mentioned person..

And if a beard was shaved, this would be possible match.

I don't want to post side by side photos here since that would be violation of WS rules.
do you really think the FBI would be releasing these if they had a match to who you are thinking of?

NOPE IMO

FBI can maybe glean foot size (unless they thought to wear shoes much larger/smaller then their real size.)
Height
Approx weight
Body build

He looks to me that he has put on several layers of clothing, padded his body size

Company that makes backpack
Brand of gloves, shoes, jacket

The longer he takes the risk of being there, in the camera, walking around , the quicker he will be identified.
Moreso than he thinks.

At first I thought young'ish, but watching him bend over, he looks sorta stiff. Either older than I thought or is wearing something that is cumbersome??
Perhaps the pistol at his crotch inhibited his bending?

Suspect obviously didn’t case this house prior to this night….Or did case and wanted to knowingly be on camera was part of the pan?

  • #17,396
I agree about 'not a young person'. The way he walks off step when he turned to get the lantana seems older and stiff versus young and spry.
Well, whatever the case they took a body out of she was indeed still alive.

Maybe the ransom notes were real and this person just isn’t very bright (sending them way later and actually taking the victim with them).

I can't imagine NG's thoughts when she saw it through the glass panels on both sides of her door -- she did not open two secure doors to let it in.

Second perp must have been coming through a back entrance. I wonder what they'll see on the camera above garage?

CNN has FBI video footage from Nancy’s front door.

  • #17,399
Wasn't it said in the beginning that a camera picked up a figure, movement, inside the home? Maybe that's the next video to be released.

My opinion:
two pairs of gloves, the hands are moving oddly for someone wearing only nitrile or latex gloves so an added layer with, perhaps, knitted gloves. This might be to prevent leaving fingerprints once the gloves we're seeing are discarded.
The same goes for the clothes. I am thinking two layers so that the ones that might show on camera can be easily discarded and the appearance can be changed.
There is something feminine about the eyes and lips. The mustache looks too groomed to be real. The selection of a mask with two different shades around the eyes is to create the impression that the person might be male or female, but there's something on the upper lashes (moving to the outside of the eyes) that makes me think of rimmel...mascara.
As the person leans forward (quite awkwardly so the contents of the backpack might be heavy?) to pick up the greenery, they look back. This person was probably not alone, but was the person assigned to enter the home while the other idled the engine.

I see a weapon tucked into the front of the waistband, but I might be mistaken.

All my opinions.
