I wonder if they recovered this footage in the backlog, what about the other cameras in and around the house they spoke of? Is this all they have, or just the best view for the public to identify?

No way it should take this long to get this from the front door cam. #$%! Is this the fault of the door cam company?

When I worked NYC/Brooklyn it was very common trend in the lat likea gang in community. Sharpie eyebrows we'd call them. Some of the rookies I worked with were Puerto Rican and they'd all have them and we'd laugh about it.
Actually looks like a gang member

respectively, as long as i've been on this site, there has never been a correct guess to a suspect's gender when they are in "disguise". i remember when many members said the devil's den murder suspect looked female before they identified the actual alleged culprit.
For sure.

So this seems to be a true planned break in/kidnapping/assault of some sort.

Or...could be planned and staged to make it look like that. To cover something else that happened prior. MOO.
If he were hired, wouldn't he have staked out NG's property and anticipated the nest cam. He doesn't seem to have expected the nest cam.

To me, one of the most unique characteristics of this unsub is the holster/gun. The placement right in front of the groin is very very distinct in my opinion. Never seen that in my life. Hope LE will go to local gun ranges and ask about folks who use that set up/type of gun. Also, he does reach for the gun/holster to adjust/confirm it's stable i think. Sort of an involuntary motion. MOO

As a gun guy who used one for years on the job, it's weird in a number of ways.

-The holster doesn't seem to match the sidearm, the gun looks more like a poly late gen semi auto and it's stuffed in a holster that profiles for a longer gun with a shape of a revolver like a Colt python for instance. Too hard to truly tell w/ the pic/ darkness, but it looks off.

-Also a light-colored holster, usually a burglar would go all black (same w/ reflective stripes on a backpack??? It's a weird detail but again a bit wonky or "thrown-together" in his get up, much easier to get darker leather or kydex etc.

-in the earlier frames he is not open carrying. he pulls the holster out front and center over his crotch (right hand orientation) as he approaches the door - indicating he wants it to be seen then. His hand does seem to hover in ready position then, though it could be a threat posture or like you said involuntary.

I’ve been suspecting the bandmate for quite some time. Has a history of criminal behaviors.
I looked at the images immediately and I agree of the likeness.

I don't see the backpack or gun in this photo? Is it just not good resolution? Or did the perp go to the door once and then go get his stuff and come back? No timestamps.
Edit: Upon closer inspection, I think the gun is to the side instead of in front.

Reported on the channel I am watching to be the most important video is coming. IDK what that means until we see it.
What channel is that?

Noticed the backpack was full, too. Definitely not a robbery. What would be in the backpack?
Bag big enough to fit her in to be able to carry her? Makes me wonder now if the ransom is true? How would they know she was going to be home that night? How were they so sure? And how did they know what tools to bring? And the camera thankfully captured them.

if he's the one who removed the camera, it would take more time to tape over it and then remove the tape/camera together.
My impression - he keeps not covering the camera part, his fist at first is aiming above it? If that makes sense. So he maybe didn’t know where the camera part was vs the light (?) on it. Not super familiar with how they work? So ended up just taking it.

Eyes are very distinctive.
and horrifying.

Do those cameras have sound?

Wasn't it said in the beginning that a camera picked up a figure, movement, inside the home? Maybe that's the next video to be released.
I don’t remember them saying inside the house. They said it could have picked up on an animal which would have been outside.
