For me, it is a data point that helps rule out the SIL.

The SIL would have known about the door camera and come prepared for it. It's obvious from the video that the actual perp noticed the camera as he approached the door and then had to freelance a response to it.

This is def not a professional. The video with the flowers is so amateurish that it’s almost laughable. A professional would have brought tape, not hunted around for flowers on site.

The bending over may be awkward because of the backpack, especially if it’s heavy.

Now that you mention it, and take it for what its worth of course, but a former Seal and hostage negotiator on a Fox clip I watched last night kept referring to "they" and "them" and "this group". Also, I hesitate to say this due to all the mass hysteria and conspiracy theories surrounding it, but he suggested that it could be related to the recent release of the Epstein files and SG's purported penchant for interviewing victims.
