The eyes look feminine to me but the body looks masculine.

Good catch! I noticed he also doesn't have the backpack in that picture, so maybe this is him coming back to the front door later or something. 🤷‍♀️

Closeup on TV, looks definitely like he has a moustache. He left that identifier.
Very amateur, as mentioned here.
That camera is giving up a mountain of identifiers. Will ultimately identify the subject.

If someone is close to my door I get notification on my phone that someone is near my front door. I wonder if she had an alert when he was first out there?

To me this whole scenario probably points away from SIL.

However, I think this is a big man featured. Look at the height in relation to the arch.

Also, this is black and white/ night vision, so tints may be reversed a bit.

And regarding other posts saying eyebrows not being bushy and eyes appearing feminine, the mask and the lighting/footage both obscure and distort images.

We can’t see anything but a line of the eyebrows, from what I have seen.

Holy moly! That looks nothing like SIL at all. Someone else for sure.

i don't see any shape of a bust at all. i don't know why everyone always wants it to be a woman when crimes are committed by disguised individuals. missy bevers comes to mind.

this is already a bizarre and rare case in so many ways, the odds that it was committed by a woman are astronomically low.

If female, could have worn padded clothing to confound the outline.
But - layers would make it harder to move.
Believe it's a stocky male.

I’m over 2,000 miles away from Tucson and yet those images are making me look over my shoulder.

I would presume that an elderly woman, living alone, would already be anxious with someone at her door in the middle of the night. She may have worried that there was a family emergency or some such.

Then to open the door and see this MONSTROUS creature at the door and she wasn’t able to ward him off….oh, Lord, how excruciating.

Agree, odd. It could be the house located on the curve on N Cer Chica. On google maps, the home looks like it was going through an extensive remodel with all the work trucks in the driveway. I don't know how to tell the age of the google maps photo. Could be headlights on N Cer Chica but it seems like it would be too many. Odd for sure in a dark sky lighting controlled area.
