Bbm.
Did you have a link for the bolded ?
I can check around myself, too.
Tia.

It would be helpful if Sheriff Nanos would just make a statement clearing the family.
Everyone would focus elsewhere then.
Makes it look as if he's not certain yet ?
Imo.
starts around 25:55

specifically the part about reporting a suspect when they could be a victim is around 26:10

So I'm still running through a few parts slowly, I was able to get a semi-enhanced version of the gun, shoes, flashlight.

This is also a very clear image of the mouth makes it more certain to me that this was somebody that either actually has facial hair or had some sort of fake facial hair as a disguise.

It's extremely important for video of the suspect to get out because anyone who knows that person (suspect) will recognize person.

one, Am virtually certain this was intentional and professionally done. Probably a hire. No impulsive amateur is going to prepare this meticulously, act this slow and methodical, and when he saw the camera, remain steadfast and onward. No anxiety. No fear. No heightened sensory alerts or unstable reactions. Just "Oh, a camera. Better address that". Ho hum. He was at the house he in which he was supposed to be.

And to further discussion - what was in that full backpack? Clearly came prepared and intentional. Tools to incapacitate? Cleanup? ID verification equipment? Communications equipment? Ransom note?

JMO.
I can understand the "ho hum" pace. It was pitch dark. The perp was certain he wouldn't be seen by anyone except through the camera, and he took care of that. The darkness gave him confidence, imo.

Would a recent surgery, possibly in the knee, cause that?
If I may interject re: the awkwardness of the movements? I am fairly convinced that this is a person wearing different layers of clothing to somehow hide their gender, shape, etc.

There is something about the hands and legs that looks as if there are other layers there. And the person doesn't look comfortable...they look as if their movements are limited by something; whether this is the weight and bulk of the backpack, the weapon tucked into the waistband, or (as I have done in the past when we lived in NM) wearing leggings under jeans because it was going to be cold while I was out at night...I don't know.

The movements are odd, the attitude towards the camera being there, and the very odd way of trying to cover it (after appearing to look for a key? among the pebbles)...not professional, but thinks he/she has checked off all the boxes of "knowing what I'm doing."

In my opinion, there was planning involved, but it got convoluted, the situation probably got out of hand, and we are now where we are still trying to figure this out.

Opinions galore.

Video didn't help in Delphi or Missy Bevers, but this case has HUGE attention, not just true-crimers.

I have hope.
Me too. This is wayyyy better quality than the Bridge Guy footage!

Closeup on TV, looks definitely like he has a moustache. He left that identifier.
Very amateur, as mentioned here.
That camera is giving up a mountain of identifiers. Will ultimately identify the subject.
Someone will likely recognize him, the jacket, the stache, the gun, the shoes...

Imo i think they’ll be able to get a good height estimate from these images. Jmo

I disagree. In the new video just released that was filmed before the other videos, he approaches the porch like he knew the camera was there. Head down the whole time. I think that at some point then he said screw it and just decided to keep going with the plan regardless of whether the camera showed his masked face or not. Which is why he then got the flowers to try and block the camera and then eventually removed/destroyed it.
From the previous photos, I thought he didn't anticipate the nest cast. Here, I agree, the person seems that they are possibly aware of it.

What leads women to commit this kind of crime?

I kinda feel like the person is wearing another mask under the ski mask…

Brought a gun.

AFAWK didn't fire it in the house.

IMO brought it to control NG.

IMO intended to have her walk out, at gunpoint.

Intended kidnapping.

Perp has 2 masks, a full backpack and likely 2 pairs of gloves on with the outer pair being latex. Mexican cartel.
Nothing points to this as being a cartel. Nothing. Nothing in anyone’s past or present points to any cartel. Anyone can dress like this

I’m over 2,000 miles away from Tucson and yet those images are making me look over my shoulder.

I would presume that an elderly woman, living alone, would already be anxious with someone at her door in the middle of the night. She may have worried that there was a family emergency or some such.

Then to open the door and see this MONSTROUS creature at the door and she wasn’t able to ward him off….oh, Lord, how excruciating.

JMO
I do not think she opened the door.

While he was fumbling to keep the camera off his face, he had to have rung NG's doorbell many times. With the heavy gloves, he may not have even realized it. Who knows? Just when I think this case can't get any stranger, it does.

Someone on TV mentioned how would he pull the gun out with those gloves !!
He can’t manipulate his hands or fingers
at all .

This video will end up solving the situation.
So much the FBI can glean

FBI rep in TV said his eyebrows are extremely manicured and trimmed/ taken care of. As others have noted.

His whole outfit looks randomly cobbled together.

Something bright is reflecting off of his backpack strap.
They are getting highly detailed info in the infrared light, even with how dark it is,
Makes me think suspect is a she.
