I see people posting about cameras inside the house that the Guthrie children installed. I'm also seeing talk about those cameras being smashed.

Where is this info coming from because I can't find a MSM source or any other reliable source. Everything I see says there is no info about the state of the inside of the house.

Apologies if I missed it somewhere!
This is where I saw it.

Is it possible that they could have gone to Mexico and gotten the needed medication without a prescription?
I have actually thought about this, and hoped that this could be the case. If she needs meds to survive everyday like it has been said, that would be one way to get them going under the radar. But if that were the case, providing proof of life should be a no brainer if they really wanted the ransom. From what we have been told, they have not provided proof of life.

let me try to find it ... I am sorry I did not include it. Let me search again

Her toughness has always surfaced in difficult moments, like when her husband died suddenly in 1988, or when budget cuts threatened a vital public health service at the university where she worked, or even two days before her disappearance, when she insisted on walking to the end of her gravel driveway to get the mail, even if a friend had to help.

Here is a wild idea- is it possible that the real perpetrators are sending in 'tips' that seem to have some validity, but are purposefully sending the local LE and FBI on wild goose chases to make them look bad? How does LE and FBI determine if a tip is valid?
I'm guessing valid tips jive with some known information.

I am getting flashbacks to Libby and Abby murder also, where they had the name of the suspect within days and yet it took years for them to finally realize the mistake

The Daily Mail pays top dollar to the paparazzi for shots and it shows but when it comes to actual journalists they seem to invest nothing.
It's always been the shots yes and they are EVERYWHERE as their reason for existing. The pressure to work there must be something, while working there I mean. Inside story would be interesting now that I think of it. IMO

Basically the jacket, holster and backpack was all Walmart. I wonder if FBI have asked all the Walmarts within a 100 mile radius to check for a transaction that included all 3. Walmart has nearly the same amount of cameras as a casino! They’ve helped in many cases. I’m sad I even have to ask if they’ve done this, but the whole investigation is a clown show. So many resources poured into a follow up lead 2x and NOTHING to show for it.

also per article I read today, a friend visited Nancy a few days before she was taken and it said she helped her to the mailbox....the mailbox looks directly going down the sidewalk, so it shows the front door and security door seems to have been used by the household
Jmo, but I don’t think it necessarily means the front door was used in this instance (getting the mail). She could have again walked out and gone via her garage door, to avoid those front door steps.

“…when she insisted on walking to the end of her gravel driveway to get the mail, even if a friend had to help.”

This makes me so sad to imagine them forcing her down that path when every step may have caused her immense pain.

Leave it to the Aussies to tell us how they really feel. IMO
Crikey!
And they aren't wrong, IMO.
I've lost some confidence over the past almost two weeks.
IMO.

I like this. Out of the box thinking and gives a glimmer of hope.

Plausible? I have no idea.

You are glass half full in the middle of desert and we need more like you. 🩷

I find this interesting because it gives confirmation of
1) inside cameras
2) the family specifically monitoring NG (or at least that was the intent)
3) access to people (which is more that most in a home where only the homeowner has access).

Now, if these were set up by the family surely they were recording. Were they a separate system from the Nest? All home wifi systems and more elaborate CCTV now use cloud based recording. Why in this context would that not be available (it would not make sense otherwise to monitor their mom in case of falls, they need to access the footage, they are not watching 24/7).

Now the huge advantage of cloud based recordings (as opposed to back in the day when a skell would smash and grab a local dvr during the crime) is that you will record the person disabling the system and have it on your cloud/push alert even if the camera is disabled (just like the doorbell cam). So what happened here? And with the approach angles to inside cameras you'd probably have some better footage as the cameras were being disabled (and again why smashed, just spray and disconnect them, again amateur approach).
Respectfully, I caution against taking this article as confirmation of anything. The headline and first sentence use the word theory. Everything that follows is predicated with "insiders close to the case believe. . . ." Whether the sources are family members, service providers, investigators, neighbors, etc., is not known, which makes the opinion difficult to evaluate. The theory may be accurate, we don't know. But the article is clear that it is speculation from unidentified individuals. It isn't establishing or confirming facts.

MOO but this guy is wearing a mask.
Like I stated, the one who took Nancy is wearing a mask. But the professional who drew a picture of his face would agree the first guy looks like the perp. The first guy has no mask on. Maybe he wasn’’t planning a kidnapping or burglary. he was just snooping. I think both are the same man. MOO.

I don’t believe there is nothing to show for last nights raids yet. The would have collected dna and other forensic evidence which has to be examined before it can be confirmed whether they are involved or not. They wouldn’t have got a federal search warrant or expended that many resources if they didn’t have some reliable information before going in. JMO

The judge has to sign a warrant for any search. So it has to be something legitimate! That’s what makes it even scarier. How are they getting warrants for nothing?

Not buying that about internal cameras, we would have heard about that before now. If even to confirm Nancy was seen inside the house that night. Nonsense IMO.
Plus, if there were internal cameras, the family would have seen something was amiss without having to go to the house.

The universal holster he had had a long belt loop on it like these cheapo vinly holsters do. He attempted an awkward appendix open carry with it, but basically it was dangling low front and center off of his belt-line. It did not have a clip like say the kydex holster I use and would tuck into my belt-line if I were conceal carrying appendix style.

Moreso, he had what appeared to be a late gen semi auto stuffed into a longer profile pistol holster (?), and was wearing thick gloves that would be hard to fit into a trigger guard, so his entire set-up was impractical "show-over-use".

The outfit of NG’s porch guy makes me wonder if what he was there to do was simply to frighten her, and to do so at someone else’s behest.

(IMO: My theory is because of financials, but based on house histories and changes of who lives where. And NG’s reluctance to move or have live-ins. Yeah, yeah, I know, I know, I’ve been here since the beginning. But something is wonky with this case, so . . . .)

Frighten NG enough to make a change.

And I imagine it did frighten her to awaken to someone (or more than one) dressed like that in her home.

Unfortunately, it frightened her to death and panic ensued.

(Although, I also still hold out hope for her to be alive. Strange juxtaposition.)

A new theory surrounding Nancy Guthrie's abduction points to an inside job, according to reports.

RadarOnline.com can reveal insiders close to the case believe the 84-year-old's captors would be familiar with the inside of the 84-year-old's $1million home, given interior cameras were allegedly smashed during her kidnapping.

The cameras were installed by Nancy's family, including her Today anchor daughter Savannah, for their elderly mom's safety, especially if she suffered a fall.

But the abductor knew where they were situated, prompting a belief they may have been familiar with the security setup – first reported by journalist Ashleigh Banfield – inside the home.

A source said, "The signs point to an inside job. Cameras that were smashed inside the home were there to protect their mother.

"Only a very few people have access to them — they were installed to make sure nothing happened to their mom, like if she fell when home alone.

I’d sure like to know if this is true.

I wonder if this hints at just because no one was arrested in last night's raid, that doesn't necessarily mean that LE / FBI won't return to make an arrest after the extra evidence that was gathered from the vehicle and residence has been tested. 🤔🤔🤔
Exactly. They spent 2 hours going through the Range Rover and then had it towed away. There has to be something there. IMOO

I think it depends on the fate of her mother. If her mother is found alive, the sunny Savannah morning show TV host works just fine, provided her closest family are cleared.

If her mother doesn't make it and/or family members are found to be involved, regardless of Savannah being able to show up and act the part, I think the audience would actually struggle with this.

Don't underestimate SG. If she has to take a more serious posture, she could easily re-focus on a less sunny role. I think she continues to succeed regardless, if she wants to work.

I think the notion of someone having her mother harmed to try to get her spot is special.
JMO
I don’t think it has to do with SG, although, I do understand why everyone wonders.

If it was about SG, politically motivated? I think the person usually shoots, not an elaborate
Kidnapping type crime, with disguises.

Think of Charlie Kirk shooting, Tyler Robinson had extreme views, shot Kirk.
In this case, perp would shoot NG, to get back at SG, for a political statement.

I just don’t think it’s about SG, at this time.
