I personally don’t think it is a dealer plate. In Arizona, the temporary license plate you get when you purchase a new car is a white piece of paper, I’ve added a photo of an example (I edited it to obscure the plate number).

As you can see, the brand of car is abbreviated on the top right corner of the temp. plate. In the photo of the Range Rover I can see either “DR” or “OR” at the top right of the plate, under the paper which I think would be the end of the abbreviation for Land Rover.

I can only think of seeing deep blue metal dealer plates here in Arizona (photo added as well).
I believe the link to the actual video that shows what appears to be a temporary paper plate that a previous poster failed to include is:

At approximately 1:13 of the video you can see the RR which appears to have a paper plate

BECAUSE it is a celebrity based tabloid type outlet. This fits perfectly with my theory that the perp is a celebrity stalker who has a delusional relationship with SG. Secondly, stalker, I am sure, has never been answered or adequately responded to, for any communication he may have had with SG on an Instagram page or NBC fan page. SO, he went to a celebrity site to get attention. As a backup, he went to local news outs. He received the coverage he craved. Perfectly executed Publicity. IMO
Good point. JMO

Amidst any panic and adrenaline, there might also have been the thought that a never-solved “missing person” case is a better chance of getting away with it than leaving someone, living or dead, and it being definitively known that it’s a murder, or at least serious bodily harm.

JMO
Absolutely.

I didn't see a sliding glass door. I do see a large picture-type window with a sofa sitting under the ledge of the window. I was surprised because I always pictured sliding glass doors in the covered porch area.
I posted this yesterday but will do so again.

There is a set of sliding glass doors leading out to a small walled courtyard at the front corner of the house (opposite the garage). My bet is they lead into NG’s bedroom since there appears to also be a chimney to that room suggesting a fireplace there. See at 0:10 in this drone video:

A go fund me was form by a man in Arizona to help raise funds for the Bitcoin. I think we all saw that coming. Since I don’t want to bring attention to it, please just Google the information to get the article and see the page.
Nuts-
1. He’d have to know the wallet.
2. He’d be interfering in the investigation!

After HL had said about it being a crime if the person isn’t telling the truth and is hoaxing them, I wish he’d said “And if you are real, that’s also a crime - obstruction of justice” or misprision of felony, or whatever the Arizona statute calls that charge.

Even if their lawyer could argue that it’s not technically that, due to the fifth amendment and them having the right not to incriminate themselves, it could still be floated as a possibility by HL, as that should be for a court to decide, not the person concealing information, covering for criminals, and endangering an elderly woman, all for profit (from the hypothetical possibility that they’re telling the truth, I mean!)

JMO
Yes it may be a crime but I don't think reminding/threatening him with that is going to help get the information from him they want (if he is real).

Apparently the found glove is different from the “searchers gloves”.

The DNA is visible then or how could they know; blood?

The FBI says investigators collected “approximately 16 gloves in various areas” near the Guthrie house, but most of them were searchers’ gloves discarded in various areas when they searched the area.

According to the FBI, the one with the DNA profile recovered is different and appears to match the gloves of the subject in the surveillance video.

SOURCE: Guthrie disappearance could be result of burglary attempt

all imo

Possible reasons a burglar would take her away:
They realized she was the mom of a celeb and decided on the spur of the moment to kidnap her for ransom.
They killed her and did not want to leave evidence of murder.
She recognized them and they did not want to kill her but did not know what else to do besides take her away.
Their DNA or perhaps a bullet on or in the body would have incriminated them.
Taking them to an ATM, but this does not seem to have happened here.
Or it was a kidnapping to cover for intended murder. Throw them off scent.

I think there may be some terminology issues with Dealer Plate (usually a permanent metal plate movable from vehicle to vehicle) vs Temporary Tag (usually paper and used following purchase). JMO based on the 8 states I've lived in.

The RR appears to have a temporary tag to me. However, I think it is not uncommon that they are mis-used by unethical dealers/individuals.

Agree. Pay the guy. It's a total risk but like you say what do they have to lose?
IMO you don’t reward bad behavior. All you get is more bad behavior. I believe there is zero chance this person knows anything. All they would get is no name or a false name. You can do that for free.

Maybe pollen from the plants which were used to cover the camera.

For those of us (me) who who have not been following this quite as closely: are there any ransom letters or communications that are CONFIRMED to be from the kidnapper?
No, LE has not confirmed the legitimacy of any of the letters received by TMZ, etc. LE has stated they are aware and taking them seriously. (this was early on) and they also announced charges against a CA man who they determined sent the text hoax to the family.

But he would know his DNA would be discovered then, correct? I only have gardening gloves, so I’m not familiar with that type of gloves.
Or maybe only took off outer gloves, but had to use his teeth to pull them off? or to remove the light from his mouth?

It is a smallish amount for sure, and both the family and/or TMZ could absorb the relatively small risk. But what if they paid some 'last guy' who emailed and offered them info but he ghosted them and bought, say, a Range Rover two days prior to being raided by SWAT?

Not saying that's what happened, of course. Probably didn't. Only LE knows the finer details of why they wanted to talk to that man and process that car. But still.

JMO.
