Still chilling ~ a week after its release. There's something very nonchalant and unconcerned in his behavior.
I think he's calm because he's got an accomplice inside handling NG. I mean the guy inside has the hard job and guy outside just has to disable the camera(s).

Othram coming up in 10 minutes
I’m curious what you mean by that? My head is swimming at the moment I may be missing something.

It's weird how, after attempting to bang the camera (it looks like), he turns around and appears to scan the bed on one side inside the entry area (which was all stones) before stepping down outside the entry area to grab the Lantana planted on one side (outside that little portico area). I wonder if he was communicating with someone who told him to go further out. Wish we knew whether they have audio.
Maybe he was looking for something there to block the camera or thinking that he could pry up one of those stones to smash it.

i would pay the 50K to the "ransom" writer. they are spending likely millions on this case already, if it's a dead end that's fine. they will eventually identify the writer and prosecute him. it's worth it.
America has a long history of not paying ransom. They don't do it in most situations.

Call me crazy, but I think checking into gun stores isn’t very helpful. Most people who have guns, already have them. I doubt most criminals buy a gun right before committing a crime. Usually you have a gun you’re comfortable using and it’s not a last minute purchase. Totally my own opinion.

Edited to add— I’m grateful they’re checking into things though!
Exactly what I thought as well… highly doubt the perp bought the gun recently…

Are we sure there was someone inside with her?
If you’re already inside the house, why go up to the front door camera? Just block it and remove it from inside the front door so you aren’t seen by camera.

I agree! I imagine SG is pondering if her Mom's global visibility from being a guest on her show may have something to do with this. Speaking of which, I wonder who's idea if was to showcase NG on SG's morning shows. Would the employer have come up with the idea? Of course, to the employer, it's all about ratings. IMO television personalities exhibiting older folks to the general public is as risky as letting them get to know your children on camera.
MOO
David Letterman used to have his Mom on the show, she was a big hit.

Maybe they have some reason to believe it was purchased recently.

This gives me the creeps every time I watch it. Here’s what perplexes me— he knows there is a cam, which is why his head is down as he very slowly walks forward. Then he goes to use his gloved hand to block the camera while trying to remove it. That doesn’t work well, so he thinks a plant stems will help? I’m sure he didn’t want to get his face too close the camera while trying to exert the strength to break it. One would think there would be a lot of better ways to do this.

Just thinking about it, I wonder why he needed to go to the front door anyways. If he entered through the back door to get inside then he didn’t have to break this camera from the front. Before taking her out the front door, he could’ve placed something over that cam to break it without ever being seen.

How does he know there isn’t a silent alarm system in the house? You’d think in a neighborhood like that if you’re a stranger you have to think there might be an alarm system in place.

I think it’s a stranger to NG but not a stranger to somebody who did work in that house. And if that’s the case, what’s the motive? If it’s burglary why is he taking NG from the home?

“That can triangulate exactly where Nancy is directly off of her pacemaker.”

Former NSA hacker tells OutFront about the “bluetooth sniffer” he created and shared with law enforcement to try to ping the signal on Nancy Guthrie’s pacemaker.

I think that he WAS looking for something to block or smash the camera, but my point was about how he was moving about... it was like he was told to grab the plants beside the walkway, so he looked directly down to one side and didn't see any there and then was told to step down out of the walkway to grab the plants there. It was like he was following instructions as they were spoken aloud to him.

I wondered this SAME thing. It makes no sense to me I can’t make sense of it. Unless the perps hadn’t been to the front door yet and dint know exactly where the camera was or if there even was a camera.

I was out most of the day and it’s hard to keep up with the threads. I feel such a strong sense of sadness. They have not arrived at a motive? I just cannot imagine the pain. I wish there was a way for FBI to pay ransom when it is first asked for and then track down the perps. Surely they have the tools to find them now.

Has anyone wondered why they made the helicopters searching for the pacemaker info public?? I feel the perp would immediately then remove the pacemaker from her body..

Of course we don't know if there was already someone inside. MOO is that there MIGHT have been a guy inside, subduing NG. Maybe he told another dude to go around the outside of the house and disable any cameras and break outdoor lights. Then the perp inside removes NG by exiting the front door evidenced by the trail of NG's blood left on the porch and walkway. Was she slung over someone's shoulder, maybe suffering from a nosebleed as a result from a slight tussle inside? Was she carried out to an awaiting get away vehicle? MAYBE. MOO.

Why do you think there is a female accomplice? I have thought of this as well.
I agree, at least two people.

I think a neighbor reported a young couple (male and female) in a car his driveway, strangers in the past couple of months?

NG might come to the door if a young female was crying and pretending to be in distress?

I believe the young couple could be related to NG’s disappearance, and were scoping out the neighborhood.

Nanos cleared the siblings and spouses not all the family. I think they are intimating things yet unsaid. JMO

My thought, too. Extended family is not cleared.

I admit, I thought immediate family might be involved. (I’m not a journalist or influencer, the only place I’ve stated that as a possible scenario is here at WS).

Now the immediate family has been cleared, but I still think someone NG knows is responsible for her disappearance.

It was only stated Siblings and spouses...

So this doesn't include say, a niece just for example, a bit farther removed from immediate family.

Well, exactly.
