I also have wondered this from the beginning. Why no video of a vehicle? I’m thinking that the perpetrator may have used an ATV or Side-by-Side and taken her through the desert, not on the streets.
Somebody would've heard that and recognized the sound as it likely would've been considered a "nuisance noise" at that hour. Also - There would be very obvious tracks left by that no matter the soil conditions. Keep in mind blood droplet trail ends at the driveway - So they were headed out around front (to begin with anyways).

I think this is more common than many people realise. I am retired too.
I also go out for local walks without my phone. I don't carry it around the house with me.
I’m the same! I still think of the phone as a device to text or call people, “when I want to”. If I’m at lunch with friends, it stays in my purse, I’m retired. If I get a message, I text back or call back in an hour or so, which I think is reasonable. I know some people respond to every alert, that’s good for them.

I also have wondered if a side-by-side or UTV could have been used. These vehicles can carry at least one passenger besides the driver, and some can carry three pasengers besides the driver. Most side-by-sides and UTV's are very noisy with air-cooled gasoline engines that would likely have been heard in Nancy's quiet neighborhood at night. But Polaris makes a UTV that is electric-poowered, making it extremely silent. This would have allowed travel anywhere in the desert or mountains around Tucson.

My take on that is a criminal's MO doesn't typically change so dramatically in just a few short months, if at all. These were daylight heists with fake Amazon uniforms and pepper spray. Not pitch black nights, ski masks, and violent kidnappings. I doubt anyone in that little clique of miscreants had the kind of advanced criminal mind (and psychopathology) to conceive of and execute what lantana man did.

JMO.
I have so many takes on the NG situation, but I went back and watched the home burglary video again (homeowner describing what happened). It seemed obvious that this "little clique of miscreants" (I love that, btw) were there to case out the property to see if anyone was home. They seemingly became confident enough to go for their entry and pepper sprayed the dog in the process, perhaps not anticipated his/her presence of maybe they brought the pepper spray intentionally in this instance because they had heard a dog barking.

If I apply any of this to NG's home I think about this: because of NG's hearing disability is it possible that a cadre of miscreants were under the impression that no one was home at this residence and felt emboldened to enter. I won't say it's the same band of miscreants, but let's say they use the same technique. They go in, but in this case, there's a human - not a dog. Could they have pepper sprayed NG and perhaps she fell, hit her head - or something - started bleeding, perhaps even had a heart attack/event. They panic and realize they've murdered someone or perhaps she's been able to tear one of their masks off and they decide to take her with them. All this depends on whether anything was missing from the home and I don't believe we know anything about missing valuables.

All of this is MOO/JMO and it is in direct conflict with my overarching personal theory of this being an act of intense revenge/retaliation against SG.

That's the thing with this - it could go in so many different directions. I just hope and pray some day the family will have the peace of NG being found. They will never have peace, IMO, but they could have a degree of peace if she is found. Obviously, praying for her to be alive first and foremost.

ETA: if they had heard a dog barking and came in regardless, I would think it shows planning on their part and a definite degree of brazenness.

Agreed, I think most people would call 911 immediately if they saw lantana man outside the front door. A single woman, would not open the door, for sure.
Example, Amazon delivers at all hours, most people just get the package in the am. Why go to the door at night? Most people believe night time is private time.
I also agree, she probably did not hear anything ( hearing aids out, sleeping), if camera alerted on her phone, she did not hear or respond to it.
It makes the most sense intruders came in the back, surprised her in bed. Most logical way. JMO
If DH and/or I heard someone on our front porch - or on the deck in back - in the wee hours, we would definitely not open the door and would call 911 if the person/s lingered at either location for more than a few seconds. The house is locked up when we retire for the night: The only window that might be left open (weather permitting) would be our bedroom window with a screen and wooden dowel at the base of the sliding window. I'm a light sleeper and tend to wake immediately upon hearing even distant sounds during the night.

This got me thinking.... Is it known by what method the garage door is opened/closed and logged? I imagine that when NG is dropped off at 9:47pm - The garage door is opened via phone app and not with a push-button owner carried on her person. So how is the garage door closed? One would think via a push-button on a wall within the garage, yes? Because once inside - closing it with the app would be kinda odd, yes? Or am I crazy? Wonder if there is any video taken from outside the garage showing if there is even a keypad for opening the garage door...
I can only speak to my specific opener....it logs every physical opening and closing, no matter by what means, but does not log what initiated the action (remote, button, app, etc).

I feel that he or they had to have known she was going to be there that evening. For them to attempt this and she wasn’t home would have wrecked their chances of doing it again and being successful, NG would have increased security and safety measures as she would be aware her home had been broken into (assuming the footage is of the initial break in)
Not knowing anything about NG’s routine, it’s hard to say if she was a regular as clockwork person, so if not the case, it would leave someone who had intelligence about her activity that evening, or someone was watching her that night.
It just seems odd that they knew she was there and if she wasn’t, they had possibly blown their chances of pulling this off.
Just some thoughts, hope it makes sense.
Your observation is well taken. The accompanying photo shows what appears to be a tree house on Nancy Guthrie’s property in back of her house. It provides an excellent view of Nancy Guthrie’s rear patio and the door used by the kidnappers to get into the house. Could this tree house have been used by the kidnappers to surveil Nancy’s house prior to the kidnapping and to make sure that she was home? Has this tree house been investigated by the sheriff’s office and the FBI for possible evidence from the kidnappers, like blood, DNA, etc?

In the image without the backpack, and in the video, the subject is wearing black what appears to be nitrile gloves.

Gardeners commonly wear nitrile-coated gloves because they offer a superior balance of protection, dexterity, and grip.
The topic of black gloves has been discussed over and over, with many possibilities. Suggest that those previous posts be reviewed to prevent redundancy. I’m not trying to be dismissive, just saving scrolling time for others since this is a repetitive topic of discussion.

Could be HUGE!
2:36 am
How does this align with last known movement at NG's? Thought that was at 2:28?
So an 8 minute gap?
Pacemaker didn't synchronize at 2:28. If the pacemaker only tries to connect every 3-4 minutes this gives a plus/minus 3-4 minute window. She could've been out of the house at 2:24AM

I think it's worth noting that the Fox article mentions this is from Camino Real, which while in neighbourhood, at least to me at a glance, doesn't seem an obvious route for the perp to take

Agreed but time stamps surely are interesting
