TMZ just broke that she refused sexual encounter with him so he killed her. Lovely. I hope he never sees the light of day again

Is Aruba going to finally charge this psychopath with Natalie’s murder?
They did everything they could to keep this killer out of jail at the time.
Well, now he’s confessed, justice comes when he is her convicted killer, not just the convicted extortionist of her mother.

I'm curious how simply placing "her body in the water" worked. Bodies float. Did he weight her down or was tide possibly going out and carried her body out to sea? Color me a skeptic but I'm not 100% comfortable with his confession.
We spent weeks if not months analyzing tides & currents for the presumed spot, it would have been unlikely that a body placed along that beach would have just floated away. Deja vu all over again.

What JVDS gets out of the confession is the sentence is concurrent and the US can't use what he said in confession against him in future, per Painter.
I really can't get over the "concurrent". That's the most prized decision he could have desired. Giving him a consecutive sentence meant getting out in his 70's. Getting out in his mid 50's....50 is the new 30. But I already opined that he will be killed in prison in Peru by gangs.

Imo

Daddy can't protect him no longer or help him hide her... speculation.

Realistically I don’t think she will ever be found because god only knows what he did with her. But I truly hope that she will be able to be brought home to her family. It’s just not fair.

Joran van der Sloot, the top suspect in Natalee Holloways 2005 disappearance, pleaded guilty Wednesday morning in a federal case accusing him of trying to extort $250,000 from the missing teens mother, according to the Associated Press. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
*so sad. Natalee’s parents have been to hell and back. May they now feel some peace and tenderness. ❤️

Statute of limitations has run out. Although the judge told him there is no guarantee laws won't change in future there.
This is terrifying. This man is as high risk as they get in terms of probability of re-offending. He killed a woman WHILE he was under intense, worldwide scrutiny for possibly killing a different woman (Natalee). Now we know he killed them both in the same way. He is not safe, heart opened to JC or not.
