Well, I guess the neck tattoo probably figures into something having to do with the "religious nature" of the crime then. Does he see himself as some kind of avenging angel or as being sent by God? Jmo.

Traditionally, the Archangel Michael is said to be the angel with the closest resemblance to God.

The Archangel Michael is usually depicted as killing Satan and one translation of "Michael" can evidently be rendered as "Like unto God" or something similar.

In exploring your theory, I wonder if he as other tattoos depicting either the Arch Angel Micheal, or say, St. George the Dragon slayer?

It's interesting that robbery or theft were not motives as Sheafe's background does include fraud & theft, etc.
Sheafe has a lengthy criminal history that includes crimes across different counties in Arizona, Nevada, and California.

Oro Valley Police say they arrested Sheafe in 2013 for domestic violence after he allegedly choked a woman and held her against her will.

Other crimes include bank fraud and ID theft after he was found guilty in federal court. Court records show Sheafe and co-conspirators used stolen credit card numbers to process hundreds of transactions that resulted in over $500,000 in losses.

Sheafe was sentenced to 94 months in federal prison, but got out early.

I wonder what/how Sheafe got on a track where a religious motive is cited in a murder case & he apparently had more people that he planned to "visit" (murder?).

Curious to learn how and why he specifically targeted Bill - someone they say he did not know. Not convinced there wasn’t a connection between the two.

I don’t know if it’s as much “doesn’t know” as “doesn’t care.” He sounds like the classic mentally ill religious fanatic, who has nailed various bits of theology into a ramshackle religion where he is both god and chief worshipper. Likely will be ruled incompetent.

wondering when this guy is going to be transferred to Maricopa County - as far as I know he is still in Coconino County jail...
I tried Sheafe & Scheafe & Sheaf - nothing yet.
