okay .... billie went to file a missing report without knowing what Hailey was last seen wearing? Per this interview, she says she did not even talk to SA until 3 or 4 hours after that.

soooo not only did she not call him to verify where Haileys sleepover was (major hink), she didnt even call SA to get a description of her clothes from the police station to finish the missing report?

did she provide LE with a description of clothing at that time? I cant imagine LE did not advise her to call SA to see what she was last wearing....

so she most likely gave them a description she already knew of.... no?

I think the reason Billie did not call Shawn before she went to the police, and why she went into panic mode when she found out Hailey did not spend the night with MB, was because she had sick feeling in her heart, because of the person that told her where Hailey was supposed to be.
She knew Shawn was at the house with Hailey and that DD was not there, Shawn told her this.
There was something telling Billie, that Hailey was truly missing, I think she had suspicions of Shawn, the minute she found out Hailey was not where Shawn told her Hailey was supposed to be.
Billie will never admit to this, she had seen signs of something not being right.
An awesome mother would have acted on this, Billie didn't.

BBM and I totally agree. And furthermore, I think it quite probable that she resented and blamed Hailey herself for the reasons that she had suspicions of Shawn. Hence her most unflattering comments about Hailey, such as being hormonal, having attitude, etc., along with NOT being absolutely enraged at Shawn saying Hailey was promiscuous, and then working like crazy to 'keep her man'. Heck, I never even knew Hailey, and that 'promiscuous' comment enraged ME, even if it HAD been true. Has anyone seen any kind of evidence whatsoever that it might have been true? If so, I have missed it. It just doesn't ring true. Unless her 'activity' was with one person only who kept that secret very well hidden.

I will say that I saw this 'dynamic' many times in dealing with mothers of teenage girls who had been sexually abused within the home. I saw plenty of them, as I was director of an emergency shelter for teenage girls.

I agree peeples. HD reportedly "had" a boyfriend about three weeks prior to her disappearing. There were also reports that MB was not allowed to stay at HD's house because they had been caught sneaking out and wandering about at night. I'm thinking that may be why HD no longer had the boyfriend. BD also stated that she had talked to HD about birth control. Which I think is a good idea for a mother to do with a girl HD's age or even before the girl reaches HD's age. I think that Shawn was jealous and felt rejected when he stated that HD was promiscuous. He was way too upset with it to me. It really should not have been any of his business at all.

JMO but she didn't give a full report until later when an officer came to her house, and SA was home by that time.


It was adressed a few times the other night when she did her interview.

I think she has said many strange things. I remember early on when she was on NG show and Nancy asked her if she had anything she wanted to say to her daughter and I don't remember the exact words but she was saying how beautiful she was and what a beautiful girl she is. BD's lies are starting to unravel. Better lawyer up BD or shut your trap. Actually I do not want BD to do either. "Keep talking BD pretty please!!" Where the h@!! is Hailey BD?

I either am missing something or do not understand how this puts a nails in her box.

Well, she has a long history of getting times and facts mixed up and/or confused, so I don't think you can read too much into that.

I find it hard to believe that she didn't check with him first though, before raising the cavalry. That seems like a logical thing to have done under the circumstances.

The other possibility is that SA's mother was not too specific about the time, and " sometime in the afternoon" become "around midday", then became "midday" which then became "noon". That is one of the problems when people pass info through a chain of sources (the "telephone" effect) and things get changed through paraphrasing and misunderstandings of what phrases are intended to mean. So, unless the source themself is saying it, chances are it isn't accurate.
