No, not now. But at the rate our understanding of genetics is increasing, no one can say what will be possible in 5, 10 or 20 years. Crossbreeding hybrids would be impossible naturally. But with genesplicing who knows what they will be able to do.
We can only hope that our wisdom will increase at the same rate as our scientific understanding. Given our past history, it doesn't look good.
No?! Not possible, ever, ever ever ever EVER! Not the same species. NOT POSSIBLE. ETA: The number of chromosomes differs. I don't think we can even crossbreed with chimps, or other Apes because they also have different numbers of chromosomes. That's how much difference there is. ETA: Ok, they say it *MIGHT* be possible one day. Keep in mind, it isn't easy to make a mule, and they are likening the chromosomal similarity between chimps and humans as like those amongst the equus species. For now though, it isn't even possible to inter-breed with the species that is closest to us genetically. It won't be possible to inter-breed and make hybrids with cows ANY TIME SOON!
