Our news just said that most of the children came from foster care or were runaways. They also said that more than 100 of the 150 arrests were here in Wisconsin. That can't be right, can it?
Maybe kids were kidnapped or lured from other parts of the country and transported to Wisconsin. It would make it much less likely that a child would be recognized as a missing child if they were kidnapped from other states.
(I've wondered if Kyron Harmon's
evil step-mom sold him to child traffickers.)

Here's a good point.
What about the john's?

According to federal court documents, 21-year-old William Jerome Gibson and 20-year-old Andrea Bostic allegedly recruited and harbored a 16-year-old girl for the purposes of using her for prostitution.
Special agents also apprehended the 16-year-old girl, who said she was introduced to Gibson because she was told he could provide her with food, clothing, and a place to stay if she worked for him. The girl told agents she had already been prostituting herself for two to three days and had at least one customer on July 27.
Authorities do not believe JaRay is one of the victims found from the recent nationwide bust, but they believe it could lead to a break in the case, as each victim and suspect will be interviewed, "If they are aware of JaRay Wilson, if they know anything about the case," Mark Woodward from the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics said.
OBN's Human Trafficking division is helping in the search for JaRay. Woodward said this bust will shine a light on an often undetected problem in Oklahoma, "We have heard from members inside drug cartels that they are making more money trafficking humans than trafficking drugs," Woodward said.
None in NYC I find that interesting.
"She shared with us that she had been living this lifestyle, working as a prostitute for them, since two months before her 12th birthday," Sgt. Ron Chalmers of the Regional Street Enforcement Team said of the girl rescued during the undercover operation.
...snipped...The girl had been listed as a runaway and told police that she found her mother dead several years ago, Chalmers said.
