Deceased/Not Found Danka Ilić, 1 year old, Bor, Serbia, 26 March 2024 *arrest*

"The brother of the accused for the girl's murder told how they hid the body.

On April 6,
Dalibor D. (40) gave a statement to the police,
where he was questioned on the suspicion that he helped his brother Dejan D. (50)
to hide the body of the two-year-old girl Danka Ilić

'I don't remember exactly which day,
but it was before Dejan was arrested,
he told me that he took the bag with the child's body from the house where we left it
and that he transported it with his Peugeot vehicle and
buried it somewhere near the Brestovac bridge'

these are the words of Dalibor D.,
the brother of the accused Dejan, for the murder of Danka Ilić (2),
who died at the police station.
Dalibor D. was suspected that,
together with his father,
he helped his brother dispose of the girl's body.

'That day,
Dejan came home around 3:30 p.m.
and I noticed some changes in his behavior,
he was a bit upset,
but he didn't tell me the reason for that.

Only later did I hear on television that a child had disappeared in Banjsko polje'

- said Dalibor.

He stated that,
as far as he remembers,
two days later, on March 28, after 4 p.m.,
his brother Dejan D.
came home in his blue Peugeot 307 vehicle.
'I saw a sack in the trunk of the vehicle.
I asked Dejan what was in that sack, and he told me that there was a child.

I didn't feel well,
I asked him what he was doing, what kind of child this was,
and he told me that they hit the child and that they picked her up'
-
said Dalibor Dragijević before his death.

During his testimony, Dalibor said that in addition to Dejan, their father Radoslav D. (73) was also present with them.

'He also saw the sack in the trunk.
I asked him what we were going to do and we agreed to take the sack together with the child to an abandoned house on the new Zlotski put.

That's what we did,
we left the sack on the ground floor of that house,
on the floor and we returned home'

- said D.
The child was later moved and buried somewhere near the Brestovac bridge by his brother Dejan D.,
he concluded in his statement to the Dalibor police.

Dalibor D. died in the custody of the Police Department in Bor on April 7 at 3:10 in the morning."

This is horrific. No wonder they have been able to hold on to these men in spite of there being no evidence. I hope this confession is on video.

I absolutely cannot wrap my head around this crime. We have 4 people who have seemed to have lived normal lives. The first two have an accident that they cover by committing a heinous crime, then two more come along and help them cover it up! Did it occur to any of these brainiacs, especially number 3 & 4 to suggest number 1 & 2 turn themselves in? Apparently not. Now one of the four is dead. Their poor mother has died.(I’m assuming their mother was not in the loop.) The three in jail should be left there after they’re convicted. A little 2 year old baby lost her life and these 3 should never walk free again.

Thank you again, Dotta

There is no DNA of the child found in the Company car.
Also,
if the defendant really used his own car to transport a dead body in some kind of a sack/bag,
IMO cadaver dogs would have detected it.

Everything will be decided during the trial.
All evidence will be presented.

As of now,
this case remains a mystery.

I cannot decide this way or another.
These are only MSM reports.

This case stinks so bad. The fact that the only one who "confessed" is dead is very interesting.

2 confessed:

1 defendant - later withdrew his testimony
and
a brother of the defendant

Mother of a girl from Bor announced a lawsuit against the suspects for her daughter's murder:

"He is the biggest culprit."

"Now, after more than seven months,
I think that Srđan J. and Dejan D. don't even know where my child is after she was moved several times,
but I think that Radoslav,
that is, Dejan's father,
is involved in everything!

He is the biggest culprit
and I am sure he knows where my child is.

He will not be able to rest his soul
until he confesses everything" -

Ivana answered the question regarding the involvement of Dejan D's father,
who was also arrested
after his son stated before the prosecution that after the murder of the girl,
he confessed everything to his father and brother.

Not having her remains, knowing ‘where she is’, must add to their grief immensely, so awful :(

"The indictment for the murder of Danka Ilić has been confirmed.

The Higher Court in Zaječar
has just confirmed the indictment of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zaječar
against Dejan Dragijević and Srđan Janković
for the murder of Danka Ilić (2),
and against Radoslav Dragijević for helping to conceal the crime.

The defendants have a legal deadline for the right to appeal to the Court of Appeal in Niš,
and the defendants' lawyers will use that right."

"THE FATHERS OF THE SUSPECTS FOR THE MURDER OF DANKA ILIC

CLAIM THAT SHE IS ALIVE.

The statements of Dušan and Radoslav:

'She is in good hands,

SOMEONE IS TAKING CARE OF HER'

Srdjan's father refused to testify,
but claims that the girl was not killed.

Both fathers claim that the girl was not killed but kidnapped."

These men should both be prosecuted for perjury in addition to any other charges that are appropriate. What they are doing to Danka’s family is just cruel. Incredible with LE searching for her the only ones to have claimed to have seen Danka alive is the father of the accused, who is also charged after the fact for helping them stash her little body.

"The Court of Appeal quashed the indictment for the murder of little Danka.

The Appellate Court in Niš canceled the decision confirming the indictment against SJ and DD, suspects in the murder of the two-year-old girl Danka Ilić.

By approving the appeals of the defense attorneys of the suspects,
the Appellate Court revoked the decision
and referred the case to
the first-instance court for re-decision,
it was stated in the announcement of the Appellate Court in Niš.

" 'I BELIEVE THAT THE PROSECUTOR WILL COLLECT MORE EVIDENCE'

Danka Ilić's father came forward and sent a brutal message to the lawyers.

'We are really in shock!
For almost 10 months,
no one has informed us about any steps.
I can't believe that those two would do something like that, it's unbelievable to me.
I sincerely hope that the prosecutor will still collect evidence.
I believe in that.
I simply cannot understand that such two people exist!

At the same time,
I want to point out that it is a shame for lawyers to defend such people who harmed a child of less than two years old' -
said Miloš."

"THE ACCUSED FOR THE MURDER OF DANKA ILIC REMAIN BEHIND THE BARS.

The court decided on custody,

what will happen with the indictment is still uncertain.

Dejan D. (51) and Srđan J. (51) are
accused of murdering little Danka Ilić (2) on March 26 last year.

High Court in Zaječar extended their detention until February 14.

The High Court has still not made a decision on confirming the indictment against the two defendants
after the Court of Appeal in Niš annulled the decision
and sent the case back for a new decision."

" 'WE STILL DON'T KNOW

WHAT THEY DID TO OUR CHILD'

mother of Danka Ilić said

after the indictment for her daughter's murder was confirmed.

1739910762815.jpeg

'This is positive news,
but it is not good for us.
It can't be good when we don't know what they did to our child,
we just found out that she is dead.

We don't know where our child is for almost a year.

I want my sons and my family to find out what happened to our Danka,
to find her body
and to be able to light a candle for her.
If only I knew that she is at peace
and where she rests' -
said Ivana Ilić
shortly after the indictment."

From 30 March 2025

" 'THERE IS NO EVIDENCE THAT THE DEATH HAS OCCURRED'

The Court of Appeal in Nis

once again

REJECTED THE INDICTMENT

for the murder of Danka Ilić:

'There are no eyewitnesses, material and biological evidence'.

The Court of Appeal in Niš
rejected the decision of the Higher Court in Zaječar
to confirm the indictment for the murder of Danka Ilić.

The indictment was sent back for reconsideration
'due to lack of evidence
and irregularities in the procedure'."

"The Appellate Court in Niš
has issued a decision for the second time rejecting the decision of the Higher Court in Zaječar
on the confirmation of the indictment for the murder of Danka Ilić.

Although,
when the decision was rejected the first time,
the High Court in Zaječar was ordered to remove 'important violations of the provisions of the criminal procedure',
this time it will have to, among other things,
- reconstruct the events,
- listen to Danka Ilić's mother,
but also
'keep in mind that the factual description in relation to Radoslav Dragijević contradicts itself'.

The reconstruction will be carried out, according to the decision of the Appellate Court in Niš,
based on the evidence collected so far
(data from the report of the investigation, a sketch of the scene, photo documentation and opinions of experts from certain areas, etc.)."
