OMG. so the timeline is as follows per the DM article linked above:
11:30am Gardner arrives at Classic Cuts with son in car with him. He exits car, leaves son strapped in car seat. Windows are cracked and some sort of portable feeble fan is running in the car
time? Haircut finished Gardner
bypasses his car and crosses street to the Hanky Panky Lounge and drinks multiple beers and shots over the course of the next 3 hours.
2:40pm Gardner exits the Hanky Panky gets in his car and proceeds to drive to his mother's home where 911 is FINALLY called because not at all surprisingly little Sebastian is dead and has been for some time
(note his mother is not present at the time)
Emergency crews rush Sebastian to hospital but it is far too late for any chance of resuscitation. His body temp was estimated at 111 degrees and his internal temp was over 107 degrees
time? (sometime later that afternoon)
Gardner picks up his mother, who is still unaware her grandson is dead and her son is responsible, and proceeds to go back to the Hanky Panky to enjoy a few more alcoholic beverages with her
Just absolutely gross. The level of callous indifference, the selfishness, the self absorption. even AFTER THE FACT is just mind blowing.
