Authorities in Hart County, Georgia, are searching for a man after his family reported him missing and his vehicle was found stuck in the mud.
The Hart County Sheriff's Office and the White County Sheriff's Office say they are continuing to follow leads and tips regarding the disappearance of Douglas Cordell Barnes.
On July 21, deputies said they found a Gold Ford F-150 sitting off the roadway, stuck in mud at the intersection of Providence Church Road and Knox Bridge Crossing.
The deputy ran the vehicle registration and marked it with an orange sticker. On July 28, Barnes was reported missing to the White County Sheriff's Office by his family.
On July 31, a deputy checked on the vehicle again, and when he ran the registration, he was alerted that Barnes had been reported as missing.
At this time, the White County Sheriff's Office was notified of the location on the vehicle.
If anyone knows the whereabouts of Barnes or has any information as to his whereabouts, you are asked to contact the Hart County Sheriff's Office at 706-376-3114.

Douglas Cordell Barnes, 36, of Cleveland has not been seen or heard from since Saturday, July 19.
Family members told the White County News and posted on social media it is out of character for him and they are concerned for his well-being. They are currently on their way from Oklahoma in hopes get some answers regarding his whereabouts.
Hart County Sheriff Mike Cleveland is working with the family to try and locate Barnes.
“We have two leads we’re following, but we’re not ready to release any information yet,” Cleveland said. “We’ve done door-to-door searches near the truck.”
According to reports, he was last seen leaving his home in White County wearing jeans and a t-shirt. He is a white male roughly 5’8” tall and weighs 160 pounds. Barnes typically wears a camouflage ball cap.
