So many people failed this beautiful baby, shifted all around and left with her so called father, someone abused her, she was an innocent baby!!!! Some others need to join that useless father in jail. JMO

I’m going to guess that Grandma made it known that she may not have liked how her daughter was living her life. Perhaps an argument or a big fight. Daughter moves out to carry on the life she wanted and out of spite or just to avoid drama dumped her baby with a known deadbeat criminal father?, and his sex offender Dad.

I know this isn't helpful, but I can't help but wonder why Kytana (@18 mo old) would have been dropped off with him. He is a known felon who has a drug problem.

A family friend reports seeing Kytana with bruising on 1/31. She says her son picked up KA's mom from the hospital & brought them both to her house. Reportedly, baby had been staying with "friends" while mom was hospitalized.

You have got to be kidding me? Another person witnessed what that monster was doing to Kytana and didn't call 911? Who are these people? Life means nothing to them?

This witness!!!!!! I'm just furious. Then at the very end of the article it states that an amber alert wasn't issued because there was no evidence the child was in danger. What a crock!

Rodrigues' attorney actually asked for a bond reduction. SMDH.

A witness told police that while visiting a friend’s residence, they had heard Rodrigues yelling obscenities at Kytana, saw him kick her and try to give the child a methamphetamine pipe saying, “that’s what she like” before complaining that he had had her for “3 days already.”

The witness returned later and said Kytana was naked and crying and that she had bruising on her body. She also said she saw blood and bruising near her mouth, to which Rodrigues responded it was chocolate and that she had fell in the shower. The witness told police it was not chocolate.

The next day, the same witness said that when Rodrigues got off a chair, holding Kytana, the child’s legs had even more bruising and that they were “dangling as if lifeless.”

The witness told police that she felt Rodrigues “was smoking methamphetamine and looked high.”

Was the witness high too? Because who in God's name could witness a bruised and bloodied little 18-month-old baby and do nothing? Rodrigues admitted to killing her but this woman could have saved her life! She did nothing! Is she a mother? I pray to God NOT.

How do you get so many devoid-of-conscience people in the same place? A sociopaths-only party or something?

And then that other cretin says, "Don't worry about it. I'll take care of it."
