Any updates about this lunatic? How does someone commit murder and we just never hear a thing about it again?
Yes, I noticed the public defender being appointed, too. Interesting, isn't it? He may well need a good one...Did he post bond? I find it interesting that he had a public defender appointed, I guess his agents aren't paying for a lawyer.
If he does post bond, it should put a new light on the public defender appointment, IMHO.Not to my knowledge and I haven't seen anything in the news. With a $1,000,000,000 bond I doubt very seriously he will be able to post a bond.

My daughter went to school with Parker and was friends with him. She lost track of him after HS, but had nothing but good things to say about him. Quick witted-funny- well grounded.
This is definitely a SHOCK to the entire community.
No one is a winner in this situation. Very sad.
I partially listened to his conversation -- a bit odd and a little scary. But maybe that was his intent...Here is his bandcamp link- music and audio
Hope this is allowed.
Good Talking Vol. II, by Parker Mays
Heck, Jewels -- nothing wrong with thinking bigly!!!Yes I went a little overboard, sorry. Got carried away with those darn 0's. I just had cataract surgery so I am blaming it on that. lol
Oh my, @handsandwich, what a sad thing to hear. But now you are healthy enuff to look back to see what happened to you and to realize it was totally the wrong treatment for you. Be proud of yourself for overcoming those bad times which were not the way you needed to be helped!Parker mays’ father was my psychiatrist for a good 7-8 years of my life. He had me so over medicated I was in a SSRI-induced state of mania for almost 3 years; I have no recollection of most of those memories except from what family has told me. I was violent, dangerous, and had no inhibition. I didn’t even think straight, I was delusional. I can’t even identify with the person I was As mays’ patient as a successful, empathetic, and non medicated adult. There’s something more to the story of Parker mays and his relationship to his quack father that plays into this. I have horror stories from the ‘drug trials’ I was put through as his patient. Ruined my life and made me have dark thoughts, Kevin mays treats people like guinea pigs. I hope that justice is brought to that side of this story.
I had to keep fast-forwarding it. I am in extreme rhetoric-phobia right now -- too much, too wrong, too cruel -- so I skimmed it. It was sad to hear -- he's wa-a-a-ay out there isn't he, poor soul? How'd he get there? And for him to do what he allegedly did is such an extreme nightmare for so many. SMH. Nope.I watched for about 30 minutes. Absolutely fascinating. His soliloquy and "vignettes" never had uhs or hummms. And he really pronounced his "ts". His stream of consciousness was separated by long sighs. Was he drunk? Drugged? Fascinating and weird.
This one may indeed be a true insanity-plea case. I think he is very sick. But we certainly don't know everything about all this yet -- and we certainly won't ever get it all, as it should be, but we still have a once-promising young woman now gone.He seems like he is drunk, doesn't it? And is he wearing pink pastel fingernail polish??
I know he was into 'psychedelic' rock. You can find pics of him online.
I think the nice boy my daughter knew was probably depressed when she knew him. It only worsened as he went off to college. It seems he had no job ..no way to make money. Just played music and drew pictures.
I can't imagine this goes to trial. SURELY he will plead out.
I've got a fan! *winkbbm
You're so right.
