It's very concerning that several people working at the ren fest have said that he visibly wasn't feeling well (probably heat exhaustion), and that medics saw him/took him to the medic tent, but his mom says that the medics "don't remember him". Like, what??? Were there that many men dressed like a plague doctor they needed to access that day that they can't remember him?

Well, his costume's already half off in the first photo; maybe he shed it entirely because of heatstroke before he went off to the medical tent?

Heatstroke is also disorienting.

That's correct, except it can be any Admin, and also Moderator if we can see that the Mod is a family member or close friend. (That team info can usually be found by viewing the People / Members or the About section).

I'm not sure if this implies LE feels this has become a criminal matter and foul play is suspected, or it's more standard procedure for this particular police department.

No, with my digital Canon EOS, the memory card in the camera will hold literally hundreds of photos, then I can upload them when I get home.

You can also use a micro SD and an older cellphone to upload pics for editing/email etc. FWIW.

Jacob Angeles was last seen at the Michigan Renaissance Festival; investigation into his death ongoing, officials said.

Authorities said deputies with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office found his body at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday in a wooded area. They said deputies were notified that a Jeep Commander matching the description of Angeles' vehicle was seen in a remote area by a resident.

"Foul play is not suspected, although the case remains under investigation by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit," officials said in a statement Friday. "An autopsy is planned for either today or Saturday to determine the cause and manner of death. It is not known how long the body had been in that location."
