I  the time when he admitted to lying in a particular interview by saying, "I don't know why I said that because it wasn't true" I'm sure Bob's lied many times and thinks he can outsmart and outwit everyone. Not going to happen. Sorry to break it to you, Bob, but you're not the smartest person in the (court) room.

They're going over the transcripts of how he agreed to let the judge know if he wasn't happy with his representation... which he never did until after sentencing.

She gave you the chance to testify, she gave you the chance to speak up about your lawyers. And you PASSED on these opportunities. 'Member, Bob? You 'member!

Oh great guacamole.
They are now discussing how he never spoke up about jury selection or publicity concerns, and how out of her way Judge Evans went to accommodate him.
'You even had a call with family where you said how nice Judge Evans is, didn't you'
'Well, she IS very nice.'

Judge Evans, in a saccharine sweet voice, 'Why thank you Mr. Bashara.'

:shame:

This Judge was fantastic to this "character".....and she kept that courtroom under control.....and STILL is "in charge", BB:jail:! Good ole "MasterBob" has got to get use to the concept that HE is not "Master of his domain" in any way, shape or form.:drumroll:

Bob has selectively forgotten all the good things his lawyers did on his behalf.
A lot of 'not that I recall' going on.

And he's cheesed that they left out evidence of all his fine upstanding humanitarian works.

He's getting his jollys by stressing the correct pronunciation of names for Ms. Lindsey.

I guess you have to take what you can get, eh?

  • #1,287
"Did you write Ms. Diallo and Mr. McCarthy a letter praising them and the work they were doing?"

Shocker....

"I don't recall."

  • #1,288
What a tool.

Lindsey brings him the letter he doesn't recall, and he starts to read the stamp stating the letter is subject to attorney client privelege.

'Yeah, you waived that at the beginning of this!'

He tells them to keep fighting, his legal warriors (or something along those lines)

I can't believe he managed to pull this request for a new trial together at all, seeing as how he has lost recollection of the majority of the past couple of years.

BOB BASHARA TESTIFIES - DAY 2 - PART 1

Live stream worked much better after DH called Comcast. I was able to watch this afternoon's testimony with BB's uber-selective memory. I'm sure none of this is being lost on Judge Evans who bent over backwards to accommodate Mr. Bashara throughout his trial. He insists on trying to rewrite history and conveniently DOESN'T RECALL earlier testimony, letters, conversations with his attorneys and/or Judge Evans, etc. that are clearly ON THE RECORD. Bob loves to talk and doesn't know when to STFU :banghead: My prediction: Bob has his day(s) in court, on the witness stand, but will not be granted a new trial. :moo:

Agreed. There is no way he'll get a new trial with all this non-evidence he is 'presenting'.

If I had been at home, I would have made a drinking game out of 'I don't recall', and all my posts would look like this: asd uhasuy heurhyi saetkhs. I'd be that hammered.

He's a piece of work.

Per Casey Anthony ..." what a waste ..what a huge waste"

I watched the parts I missed yesterday and viewed some of the material twice.

Today, it was a different story. I quit watching when Bobb started up the fake tears. I'll MAYBE watch it at YouTube when I'm in the mood.

He really got on my last nerve today with his Jodi Arias inspired fog of confusion. Then, there was the nose-blow, please repeat the question business. Then there's the "joke" that he has just testified over 2 days swinging between the $2000 was for the hit/appliances/hit/appliances ad nauseum.

I feel sorry for Ambrose. He has to give this fella his best, but must be crying for mercy on the inside at this travesty he is required to be a part of.

See you all on Monday!

ITA. All of Bob's actions are affected and calculated :dramaqueen: The repeated coughs, nose-blowing, glasses on-and-off/in his pocket/putting the temple in his mouth/peering over his glasses while looking at the attorneys or Judge, asking for the questions to be repeated, etc. are all narcissistic affectations. Not to mention the huge sunglasses that Bob wears into and out of the courtroom. What's up with that? Oh, wait! Movie/Rock stars do that when they want don't want the paparazzi following them. Yeah, BB definitely has such a humongous ego that he probably does consider himself a rock star :gaah:

Bashara’s latest bid marked by kinky details

George Hunter, The Detroit News 8:41 a.m. EDT October 19, 2015

Like the two-month trial that ended in December with Bob Bashara being found guilty for orchestrating the murder of his wife, Jane, a hearing to determine if he’ll get a new trial has been marked by courtroom quibbling and salacious details.

The hearing is set to enter its sixth day Monday, with Bashara resuming testimony.

Bashara says he deserves a new trial in part because he claims his attorneys were ineffective. He also says he wanted a change of venue because the media, whom he referred to earlier in the proceedings as a "brood of vipers," poisoned his reputation with jurors...
