''A U.S. woman made a genuinely shocking discovery in her New York apartment — she found a hidden passage behind the bathroom mirror that led to a completely different apartment.''
''It all started with a mysterious airflow circulating in her bathroom, although the vent in the room was not working, Hartsoe said in the first video named “A New-York Mystery Part 1.” In the video, she shows her hair moving as cold air blows into her face.
“I’m in my New-York city apartment, and it’s cold,” the TikTok user said. “Obviously, it doesn’t matter how high the heat goes, I’m cold… I walk into my bathroom, and I feel cold air blowing on me.”
In an interview with CURBED, Hartsoe explained she noticed that her bathroom was “really cold” after she came back from a hiking trip.''
''Searching her bathroom for answers, Hartsoe eventually realized that the cold was coming from the mirror installed above her sink.''
''Armed with gloves, a face mask and a hammer for protection, Hartsoe struggled through the hole and found herself in a mysterious room, recording everything on her way.''
''But the most strange thing that she found was not the weird bathroom or garbage bags in the other apartment: it was a staircase that led to a lower floor. When she descended, she found an unlocked door that opened on to the hallway within her apartment complex – that’s how she found a way back to her own apartment, CURBED reported.''
