It makes no sense to me because it was Julie K Brown's reporting that threw Epstein/Maxwell into the public arena.
She should be gratefully thanked even by the victims.
imo

"It's thought the series will be based on Brown's book, Perversion of Justice: The Jeffrey Epstein Story, which details her coverage of Epstein, according to the publication."

Perversion of Justice: The Jeffrey Epstein Story

53746013.jpg

"Dauntless journalist Julie K. Brown recounts her uncompromising and risky investigation of Jeffrey Epstein's underage sex trafficking operation, and the explosive reporting for the Miami Herald that finally brought him to justice while exposing the powerful people and broken system that protected him.

For many years, billionaire Jeffrey Epstein's penchant for teenage girls was an open secret in the high society of Palm Beach, Florida and Upper East Side, Manhattan. Charged in 2008 with soliciting prostitution from minors, Epstein was treated with unheard of leniency, dictating the terms of his non-prosecution. The media virtually ignored the failures of the criminal justice system, and Epstein's friends and business partners brushed the allegations aside. But when in 2017 the U.S Attorney who approved Epstein's plea deal, Alexander Acosta, was chosen by President Trump as Labor Secretary, reporter Julie K. Brown was compelled to ask questions.

Despite her editor's skepticism that she could add a new dimension to a known story, Brown determined that her goal would be to track down the victims themselves. Poring over thousands of redacted court documents, traveling across the country and chasing down information in difficulty and sometimes dangerous circumstances, Brown tracked down dozens of Epstein's victims, now young women struggling to reclaim their lives after the trauma and shame they had endured.

Brown's resulting three-part series in the Miami Herald was one of the most explosive news stories of the decade, revealing how Epstein ran a global sex trafficking pyramid scheme with impunity for years, targeting vulnerable teens, often from fractured homes and then turning them into recruiters. The outrage led to Epstein's arrest, the disappearance and eventual arrest of his closest accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, and the resignation of Acosta. The financier's mysterious suicide in a New York City jail cell prompted wild speculation about the secrets he took to the grave-and whether his death was intentional or the result of foul play.

Tracking Epstein’s evolution from a college dropout to one of the most successful financiers in the country—whose associates included Donald Trump, Prince Andrew, and Bill Clinton—Perversion of Justice builds on Brown's original award-winning series, showing the power of truth, the value of local reportage and the tenacity of one woman in the face of the deep-seated corruption of powerful men.'

This "outrage" and calls of it being "tasteless" etc certainly is misdirected by none too bright posters because this isn't another Epstein/Maxwell story it's about the investigation that exposed the behind the scenes corruption on how a very wealthy and connected man got a pass for sex-trafficking minors/women for himself and his buddies,
How Epstein/Maxwell's co-conspirators , men and women got a pass from prosecution and how the victims were addressed like low-life willing prostitutes and not minors who were groomed and exploited for sex.
My blood boils when I think of Acosta, Dershowitz, Starr especially.

Prosecutors are providing "early investigative advice" as they carry out inquiries into Lord Mandelson and Andrew's links to Jeffrey Epstein, the CPS said.

A CPS spokesperson said: "We can confirm that we are now providing early investigative advice to the Metropolitan Police Service regarding the force’s investigation into a 72-year-old man and will continue to liaise as requested.

"We can now also confirm that we are providing early investigative advice to Thames Valley Police in relation to a 66-year-old man. We remain ready to support any investigation if needed."

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Duke of York, and Lord Peter Mandelson, the former UK ambassador to the US, were arrested earlier this year on suspicion of misconduct in public office over alleged connections with the paedophile financier. They have since been released under investigation.

Lord Mandelson was accused of disclosing sensitive information to Epstein during his time as business secretary. The US Department of Justice (DOJ) released millions of pages of documents related to Epstein in January, with some of the pages showing alleged communications between Lord Mandelson and the sex offender.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – In rain, snow and bitter cold, a steady drumbeat of small protests have been held in recent months on the Ohio State University main campus with a single goal in mind: removing billionaire retail mogul Les Wexner's name from buildings where it's emblazoned.

Similar cries are arising over a Wexner-named building at Harvard University and others around the country named for different Epstein associates, including Steve Tisch, Casey Wasserman, Glenn Dubin and Howard Lutnick.

Just last weekend, the student body at Haverford College in Pennsylvania voted to urge President Wendy Raymond to forge ahead with the renaming process for the Allison & Howard Lutnick Library. The building is named for the U.S. commerce secretary who has faced resignation calls over his relationship with Epstein.

A group of Jeffrey Epstein's victims are suing Ohio billionaire Les Wexner, alleging the retail mogul enabled Epstein to sexually abuse them.

Les Wexner, his charity The Wexner Foundation and a corporation set up to manage a mansion in Manhattan that was owned by Wexner and sold to Epstein are named as defendants.

The lawsuit names 10 plaintiffs and one anonymous Jane Doe from New York, Florida, Pennsylvania and New Jersey

The following is my analysis [of Chief-of-Staff Wiles' Vanity Fair story]...

If I were the foreman of a jury, I'd translate what Wiles is saying, simply:

Todd Blanche is running the Cover Up.

Nobody knows why he interviewed Maxwell, because nobody has a Need to Know.

Everything "Epstein" is secret.
...so now Blanche, the fixer who's running the Cover Up, is Attorney General? With a confirmation hearing?

Wow.

But foremost on my mind looking backwards is... How do you fire someone who KNOWS TOO MUCH? (Apparently it takes quite awhile LOL, what else?)

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) is not backing down from her push to make former Attorney General Pam Bondi testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee about the investigation into convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Mace told CNN anchor Kate Bolduan on Friday that Bondi was still compelled to sit with lawmakers later this month, despite her no longer being atop the Justice Department.

“We did it by name and not by the title of the attorney general, so she’s still compelled and required by law to come before the committee,” Mace said during an appearance on “CNN News Central.”

“And at this juncture, I’m not backing away from that or backing down from that,” she added.

The Department of Justice has indicated that former Attorney General Pam Bondi will not appear for a scheduled deposition next week before a House committee investigating how the government handled its investigations into Jeffrey Epstein.

Rep. Nancy Mace, who initiated the motion to compel her appearance, said on social media Wednesday that “Bondi cannot escape accountability simply because she no longer holds the office of Attorney General.”

"The Department of Justice has stated Pam Bondi will not appear on April 14 for a deposition since she is no longer Attorney General and was subpoenaed in her capacity as Attorney General," a House Oversight Committee spokeswoman told Fox News Digital in a statement. "The Committee will contact Pam Bondi’s personal counsel to discuss next steps regarding scheduling her deposition."

The committee has not withdrawn the subpoena, meaning Bondi could still be required to sit for a deposition.

"Now that Pam Bondi has been fired, she’s trying to get out of her legal obligation to testify before the Oversight Committee about the Epstein files and the White House cover-up," Oversight ranking member Robert Garcia, D-Calif., fired back Wednesday. "Our bipartisan subpoena is to Pam Bondi, whether she is the Attorney General or not."

Garcia added that he would move to hold Bondi in contempt of Congress if she does not comply with the subpoena to appear before the panel.

The House Oversight Committee could recommend criminal charges against Bondi for defying a subpoena, but the measure would be subject to a chamber-wide vote and would ultimately be up to the DOJ whether to file charges.

"What happens now that she’s the former attorney general and there’s the subpoena out there is, I think I’ll leave to Chairman Comer and others to figure out. I don’t have an answer to that," the nation’s new top prosecutor said.

Gigi replied to a fan on Instagram after they said they unfollowed her as she hadn't spoken 'about those files'. 'Horrible to read someone you've never met speak about you that way. Especially in this context,' she wrote back in a now removed comment. According to E! News, Gigi explained that she hadn't wanted to say anything as she didn't want to 'take away from the stories of real victims of his'. 'Your comment made me realise maybe it's not clear - and it's important to let you know,' the model who shares a daughter with Zayn Malik added.

Low-quality post follows...

"...the White House Situation Room...was rarely used for in-person meetings with foreign leaders.

"Mr. Trump sat down, but not in his usual position at the head of the room’s mahogany conference table. Instead, the president took a seat on one side, facing the large screens mounted along the wall. Mr. Netanyahu sat on the other side, directly opposite the president.

"Appearing on the screen behind the prime minister was David Barnea, the director of Mossad, Israel’s foreign intelligence agency, as well as Israeli military officials. Arrayed visually behind Mr. Netanyahu, they created the image of a wartime leader surrounded by his team."

Let's tie the bow now.

Maxwell's father may have associated with Mossad. It's a stretch to weigh that probability and then infer imaginary ties between Epstein and Mossad. But just as likely as funny thoughts may consume, say, a websleuther...

Who's to say those same thoughts don't consume Trump?

That Mossad has the client list for example. And the photos. And the tapes. Everything.

Seems to me, the guilty types would do exactly what Mossad wants done.
