'The focus has now shifted to finding who supplied the drugs that allegedly killed Martha Nolan O’Slatarra. The 33-year-old was found dead on a private yacht in the upmarket area of Montauk in the Hamptons, New York, earlier this month.'
Or a willing participant?
Who’s to know

It's all hinging on the tox reports, imo, and if date rape drugs are found. In that case, boat owner is in trouble.

If tainted drugs are detected, maybe LE will find the supplier.

But if it's just drugs in general, it looks like an accidental death.

An accidental death from an illegal drug.

Will the naked guy claim she brought the drugs, to prevent himself from going to prison?

It wouldn't be a crime committed by the boat owner if she willinging took drugs. That would be her decision.

I guess he could be charged with possession. idk

If he supplied the drugs he can likely be charged.

Defense: Prove she didn't bring her own.

FWIW, I don't think this scenario is going to happen. The only drug charges, imo, will be if it's date rape or, possibly, if the drugs were laced.

eta: IF the tox reports come back with drugs. We don't know that yet.

''The family of a young Irish woman found dead on a boat in the US are seeking a second-opinion post-mortem examination to determine the cause of her death. The body of Carlow-born Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra (33) was found at Montauk Yacht Club in East Hampton on Long Island, New York, at 12am local time on Tuesday of last week. Her grief-stricken mother Elma, sister Jacqui and several other relatives have made the painful journey to the US to bring her body home''

Aug 14 2025
''Arthur Aidala, a New York city-based criminal defence attorney who is representing the deceased’s family, said any discussion of Ms Nolan-O’Slatarra’s cause of death “is irresponsible”, “not accurate” and “just speculation”.
He told local reporters her family “had a sit down with the Suffolk County homicide detectives”, who were conducting “a deep investigation” into the matter.

“People are still being questioned, there are technological analyses that [are] still being done,” he said.''

Hair analysis should help provide context as to whether she was a habitual user.

For typical autopsy in Suffolk county NY …. Toxicology takes many weeks.

I hope everyone's phones were available for searching text messages.

I can't find any stats on how long it would take someone to die from a cocaine/fentanyl combination. MOO, and pending toxicology reports, it's possible drugs were ingested earlier. I'm interested in any security or surveillance footage from the yacht club to know who was at the boat the entire evening and what time they arrived and left.

IMO, the actions of the "business partner" are quite sus to say the least.
So the 60-year old rich guy just happens to be alone on a boat with a young woman who accidentally dies from a drug overdose while he is naked. Yeah. Happens.

Possible re-post.. noting fwiw..
April 22, 2025
'A New York limo driver admitted Monday he ran a Brooklyn-to-Montauk drug “delivery service” — selling high-priced cocaine out of a sleek Mercedes to posh clients at spots including a yacht club.'

''Both men — who worked as private rideshare and Uber drivers — were each slapped with 47 drug-related charges after prosecutors said they dealt out of Mercedes cars retro-fitted with “traps,” or hidden compartments to hide the drugs.
They not only dealt coke — which they sold for triple the street price — but also party drug MDMA and pills, prosecutors alleged.''

Correct, AND he is an investor in her business. Needless to say, the optics are not so good for him. Unfortunately, they are also not very good for her either, and I am afraid her reputation is really going to get trashed. Very sad.

But during a telephone call in the days following Martha's death, it is understood that her mother was asked by detectives about claims that her daughter had brain cancer.

The fashionista's mother, Elma, who kept close contact with her daughter on an almost daily basis, was astounded by the claims and told detectives her daughter was 'perfectly healthy', the Irish Independent reported.

'She told them there was nothing of the sort [affecting her],' a source said.

It is not known who disclosed the information to the detectives.

Christopher Durnan, 60, the last person to see Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra alive
was once sued for biting a 9/11 FDNY first responder in an unprovoked
attack at Webster Hall.Obtained by the NY Post
''Durnan, an insurance mogul with a plush pad in Montauk and another home in Long Beach, owns the boat The Ripple.''
“They would like to know anyone who was with Martha that evening,” Aidala continued. “Earlier that evening, at the time of the actual incident, we know one person who was there. Was anyone else around?”
