And, hey guys, I wasn't downing fb, it is an excellent tool, but in certain cases with obsessive folks, not even your best privacy settings, blocking, stop them.

In my case I had a fb "friend" if you will, who was copying & pasting info from my page & sending it to my fiance's obsessive ex after my settings were secure, etc. So I said heck with this!

But it is a wonderful tool for most! :-)

So he confessed to the police that he was in fact going to go through with his threat to kill her. If that's not enough to convince the Travis sympathizers, then I don't know what would be. He told her he was going to kill her, and then he told the police he was going to kill her. If that's a "troll" or a "joke" he sure is taking it all the way. All the way to prison, hopefully!

I wish EH godspeed to the bright side of this nightmare; she's a very strong woman to have gotten this far. I hope she is able to put this behind her and live her life without fear, but I know that's WAY easier said than done.

Wow THE USB drive engraving is nuts!

Yeah, seriously #^&@ing creepy! I don't even want to know what was ON the USB drive...the stalking photos, I assume...probably all that and worse...

It's clear that the victim is none to pleased with being accused of being over-reactive or a tease, and I cannot blame her one bit for being upset. It's like insult added to injury/salt in the wounds, etc.

Off to read to Cleveland American article, thanks to knowthefacts:)

The Cleveland American article by CL Harmon

Best article so far! Got the facts right on!

Quote from the link, with my bold added for emphasis:

Taylor was arraigned Tuesday on a felony count of Devising a Plan/Scheme to Perform Acts of Violence and a felony count of Using a Computer System/Network to Communicate a Death Threat. He remains in custody and bond was not given. The first count carries a prison sentence of up to 10 years if found guilty and the second count carries a prison sentence of up to five years and a fine of up to $5000.

I'm glad to hear they got felony charges on him now. Stay strong, EH! The court process can be slow, but keep persevering and up-to-date.

Thanks to knowthefacts, also, for keeping us apprised of updates. Very much appreciated:)

"At this time, Taylor was interviewed and allegedly told officers that he had planned on killing, dismembering and cooking Hennigh’s body parts. He then told deputies that he had just the right weapon to do it but refused to tell them its whereabouts. Another search warrant was obtained. That search produced three handsaws, one tree limb saw and five kitchen knives which could have been used to dismember a body, according to deputies."

Yeah, I fail to see a joke here.

Although, I have failed to see that a joke was a possibility from the beginning.

Who the h*ll would ever wish this on themselves!?

I am just absolutely disgusted. This dude is one sick sick guy!

I have been thinking why people sometimes are not too sympathetic to women crime victims. I think the answer is that they don't want to think it can happen to them, to feel that vulnerable, so they set out to make the victims different than them, so they can reassure themselves it only happens to "these type of people". I have experienced DV in my life something I have been free of for almost 20 years now. But I know anyone can become a victim of crime and it is not their fault. JMO.

I cannot imagine that anyone would not take this seriously. This is is some disturbed thinking. I am glad this gal didn't write this off to anything and ignore the gigantic red flad this dude was waving.
To be honest I worry about her well being if he is EVER released.

I concur.

From what I read the girl handled this pretty well. She sounds like she is just a nice person that wasn't real comfortable hurting someone's feelings. But she figured that out and got over it quick like and drew her line and made it pretty clear.
Additionally, we all have the luxury of hindsight. I mean if she had the first clue what this dude was about, she never would have answered him, let alone invite him to dinner and then stand him up. Crikey that would be a death wish.
Most of us would not suspect this kind of violent stalking behavior. Especially if we don't think the worst of people as a rule.
I am just happy she wasn't too afraid to go to LE. Some may not have reported it and that would have been regrettable for someone, somewhere at some point.

I don't understand the 'bite me' engraving

wonder what he was referring to?

on his FB wall, some of his former h.s. mates refer to incidents with a Mr. Spaulding ... wonder what that was about

So you're saying you wouldn't pokey them?

In all seriousness of course I had to relook at that entire wall.

If it matters it looks like the dude snapped in January, right? A conversation or whatever goes on between him and two friends about a film. The one with that cute Franco guy in it. Lil wierdness there.

Fine. Then we have the misogynistic comments. Also as someone mentioned way back he was seemingly psychic about his dad's condition coming on. Here's the biggie to me though.............he says he didn't want to say anything because he'd be locked up AGAIN! He capatilized it.

He says outright he is gonna snap.

He also goes into the convo with the friend about emotion. He runs screaming naked through his yard once a year or something like that and he screams. IMO he is not joking. He mentions as a kid he got his finger caught in a car door and nobody noticed. So he faked screamed.

This guy may have very well hurt someone seriously at some point in the past. Seemingly nice fella. Then he's tossing coins on weather to murder someone? Not good.

So now was he locked up in jail in the past or for mental health? He's surely wound tight and oh he never sleeps. Hey I'm up at weird hours but not by choice.

That girl I bet will be afraid for life.

Please take a moment and read the Facebook threats in question.

Thanks for the link, I've been following the blog.

I totally feel for the victim and understand the confusion on how to deal with the social awkwardness. The weird overly familiar/emotional messages to someone who they clearly barely knew and who wasn't responding--I've dealt with that on a few occasions. It's hard because you can sort of sense the fragility of the person? And in most circumstances you want to back off lightly, (not because you think they're latent cannibals), but just because it feels so emotionally precarious for them.

I totally get why she refriended him thinking that he would tone things down, it's because she is just a *nice person*. Her final email where she wrote STOP a gazillion times looks like she might have been stressed about other things in her life and just got tired of creeper not getting that she wasn't interested in his long, emotional messages.

And what is UP with those weirdos on his Facebook page defending him? Females none the less? I was checking his page every so often but once I accidentally clicked "like" on someone' s post when I wasn't thinking and totally panicked and blocked him lol. Oh well.
