I read so many cases where men who've shown previous violent behaviour towards women are allowed to roam free and commit further horrendous crimes on unsuspecting women and girls, it's sickening.

I'm reminded of that horrid adage --
Men are afraid women will laugh at them.
Women are afraid that men will kill them.

I suspect his previous victim was terrified to testify against him.

And the case against him languished.

I'm holding out a last hope that he didn't intend to get caught (hence dumping the car) and he has been holding her hostage somewhere. It's the pocky hope she could still be alive.

Feeling furious about the perp, but also rather shaken to realize if he wasn't caught in this case, he would have repeated and repeated his crimes until finally caught. imo

They were able to get into her messages, it seems. Probably took some time to get that warrant.

It wouldn't be popular but I almost wish every woman had a designee with a sort of cellphone Power of Attorney, to know all of our passwords in the event of an emergency like this own.

Maybe we'll have a miracle and she'll be alive. That's what I hope for right now, and it's possible. I won't get into how likely, and I don't care now how likely. It could happen. He hasn't killed before, correct? Maybe not this time, either.

My heart sank after reading the pressor recaps this morning. Since his vehicle is said to be missing, I have no hope Kada is alive.

My thoughts are with her family as they endure this difficult wait.

I am trying to figure out if she knew him or if he got her # and all those phone numbers were the harassing ones. IMO

If he has held her somewhere, he hadn't been able to return. Massive just maybe that will give her the opportunity and resolve to escape somehow.

I really want to know how LE came into possession of him. Perhaps the Camry is indeed where she is and he had other means to leave that location.

What worries me is that they have cctv and his phone/phone numbers which you'd think would lead them to an address, a location where he charges his phone, spends time, lives, sleeps, etc.

Where was he there day before this happened? Where could that car be now?

I hope LE is getting inundated with valuable tips resulting from that presser.

it sounded, to me, that he knew police were looking for him. Did LE attempt to reach him by phone? He evaded LE all over the city. Didn't they also say he got rid of a phone?

That’s why I have no hope. That was likely his home searched last Thursday.

Kada would be a fighter, she wouldn’t have been passive. She was likely killed in the car. Why else would he ditch his transportation?

He is not yet known to have killed. Maybe again. he has not If patterns hold, that is a pattern, too. So I will hope, the vehicle only counts for so much, she may be held who knows where.

After the news presser during comments it was reported that the house they searched was 1 of his addresses he has used.

Do we know for sure she made into work? Could he have taken her from the parking lot after she left her car but before she got inside the building?

Or, did he work there - maybe the daytime shift and saw her arrive for her shift, got her name and number, harrassed her, and then grabbed her?
