I love it! He's going to hate having that ankle monitor on. I wonder how long it's going to be before it goes to trial!

I have a feeling that this case will be featured on Dateline and 48 hours.

The prosecution informed the judge that FBI investigators had found large sums of cash and silver bars and coins in a safe at John-Paul’s home, leading them to believe he was a flight risk. They also stated that John-Paul had repeatedly threatened Mica’s family and witnesses who complied with law enforcement in the case.

John-Paul’s next court appearance will likely be in March, according to federal prosecutors, as he waived his right to a trial within 70 days.

The federal prosecutorial team explained that they remain limited in what they can share publicly outside the courtroom, but noted that the investigation into John-Paul Miller is ongoing.

What a waste of oxygen! I hope he’s put away for a long time.

I wonder what will become of Miller’s current church business. Perhaps his current wife will take over while the pastor prepares for trial.

From 2024:

As Miller was making changes at Solid Rock, plans were underway for a new church – dubbed Living Water at Market Common. A filing was submitted to the S.C. Secretary of State for this entity on October 17, 2024. Miller is the registered agent and the address given for the new entity is his home address: 246 Coldwater Circle, Myrtle Beach(a property owned by Solid Rock).

On October 23, 2024, the business filing for Solid Rock Ministries, Inc. was amended – with its address changed and a declaration made that if the entity was dissolved, any remaining assets would go to St. Delight Pentecostal Church – which is run by Miller’s mentor, Charles Randall.

In November, individuals with ties to Miller reportedly submitted organizational paperwork for two new ministries – Mercy Church Ministries and Forge Church. Mercy Church Ministries was filed on November 18, 2024 with Mollie Flemingas its registered agent – and a nonexistent address. Fleming is John-Paul Miller’s maternal grandmother.

Copyright prevents more quotes from the article. The above entity’s address was then changed to a Myrtle Beach-based company which rents U.S. Post Office mailboxes.

Another business called Forge Church was also filed, with the registered agent of a close buddy of Miller.

February 2025:
Salem Woods Holdings, LLC, purchased the 2.18-acre Market Common property on Feb. 14 for $2,150,000 from Solid Rock Ministries, Inc., records show.

Miller's father, Reginald Wayne Miller, is a pastor who once had a thriving congregation described as the largest charismatic church in eastern South Carolina.

He also had a Bible college and a morning TV show called “Good Morning Jesus.” That empire crumbled after he was accused of sexual misconduct and convicted of federal charges for forcing international students at his school to work for little or no payment.

There’s so much more dirt on Miller. He’s a con man and grifter just like his father. I’m so sorry for the gullible people who attended his various churches and were fooled by this devil.

“Forge Church” lol. Reminds me of Murdaugh’s fictitious “Forge” bank account. These dummies like to point their scammy fingers right at themselves, don’t they?

The filing also states that on March 2, 2026, and before, defense counsel reviewed with Miller “in person, via email, and/or on the telephone his rights to a Speedy Trial under federal law,” and that Miller “voluntarily, intelligently, and knowingly waives his rights to a Speedy Trial.”

The motions came after Miller's pre-trial conference was scheduled for March 12. Jury selection was also scheduled for March 17.

Miller was previously granted a continuance for the federal trial as a whole in January.

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - After a court-approved delay, dates for a pretrial conference and jury selection have been scheduled in a former Myrtle Beach pastor’s case.

Federal documents show John Paul Miller’s pretrial conference has been set for April 14 in Florence.

A pretrial conference is where a defendant appears to enter a change of plea or to request a trial.

John Paul Miller is facing federal charges of cyberstalking and making false statements to federal investigators.

Sorry, found the latest update after posting the first. Some key points listed below, much more at link posted above.

-If John Paul Miller requests a trial on April 14, jury selection will take place on April 21.
-If he needs another continuance, he has a week prior to the pretrial conference date to do so.
-He's facing up to five years in prison for cyberstalking and up to two years for making false statements.
-After his arrest, John Paul Miller was released on a $100,000 unsecured bond.
-As part of his bond conditions, John Paul Miller must wear an ankle monitor and may not leave South Carolina. He also may not contact potential witnesses or anyone in Mica Miller’s family.

By now I imagine Susie is hoping he'll be convicted ... :)
