There is a leadership failure at this base. The area is clearly rife with issues but it is the leadership that should be held accountable for not looking at issues in the area and creating a plan to hold soldiers accountable and ensure the safety of the soldiers and victims of crimes committed by soldiers. Time for action and heads to roll.

Not investigating the Tuff box lid found at the river burn site was obtuse and naive. You do not want that decision maker in a CID command position the army.
That shocked me -- especially as there seemed to be no rhyme or reason for which soldiers were deemed deserters within weeks of missing compared to months.Army has been getting away with failing to keep order and calling missing VOLUNTEER soldiers deserters.
