Has anyone watched the Netflix Evil Influencer program? It really bothers me. I feel it shows the state trying to pin most of the blame on Jodi. They’re trying to pretend that Ruby was not so bad before Jodi. Well she wasn’t AS bad but she was evil. She just met someone who egged her on.

I can’t help but think that Jodi’s possible sexuality, along with her appearance when compared with Ruby, make Ruby less culpable under the state’s eyes there. And society’s eyes It makes me nervous. I’m worried Ruby is going to get released earlier than Jodi.

IMO, they are both evil and both deserve as much time as possible.
From what I remember KF is kinda in RF's corner by putting too much blame on JH as being the one who's the most responsible for their brain washing.
I see him doing that as trying to claim victim hood for them both.
It disgusts me seeing so many people viewing KF as a victim no less RF.

KF saying that his kids could have been saved only if.
Really KF?
You're the one who lived in selfish willful denial long before CPS & police went knocking on Ruby's door to do a welfare check on your children.
Your hypocrisy is astounding.
imo

yeah, KS and his words excuses carry zero weight with me. But Eve and Russell, bravo to them, for telling their stories in an effort to help spare other kids from teh type of horrific abuse they endured.

I watched and felt that the angle the producers were looking for was always Jodi and her many years of abuse of children and those who viewed her as their therapist. I think they were pushing the "Jodi was in a position of trust and has consistently abused that position for decades" angle.

But I don't disagree with you, Ruby was a horrible person BEFORE Jodi and not BECAUSE of Jodi. Ruby may well have reached the extreme levels of abuse to her children without Jodi, but I guess we will never know for sure.

One thing I feel sure of. The day these two women found one another was a tragic on for the Franke kids. The two women fed off of one another's cruelty all while reassuring one another that their way was the only way to "truth" and everything else was "distortion". They were the perfect storm of psychopathic abuse once combined.

We know the Franke children were home schooled too.
So Utah kids can't rely on CPS/police rescuing them from being abused nor can they rely on getting a sound education and/or help with any learning/emotional challenges."

It's no wonder Utah is one of the most popular states for home schooling.

Regulation

Utah offers one option for homeschooling. Parents seeking to homeschool their students, ages 6 to 18, must complete and file a one-time notification of intent to homeschool at their local school district. Once filed, the student is removed from the public education system and is exempt from Utah’s compulsory education law.

This policy is different than most other states. Since homeschooled students are exempt, there are no state requirements about instruction time, instructor, subjects, or record keeping.

Homeschooled students can choose to take the state test, but it is not required.'

Kevin should be ashamed. He is also responsible for what happened to his children. As a father, he did absolutely nothing to protect them. I don't care about anything he says, no matter how hard he tries to paint himself as a helpless victim who had no choice, because he did have a choice and he could've asked for help, he could've fought for his kids. His adult daughter Shari tried to contact him when he moved out of the family home and he ignored her. He is pathetic and should've been punished.

This is sooo true. I have always thought that UTAH could "take a stand" and greatly improve their homeschooling standards and measures.....
