Here’s the video of the kidnapping and the Dad shooting at the two men in the car the following day.

I saw a longer video, that shows people running out of the house after Jamal was put in the car. Does anyone have a link for the video I described?

this video's reporter commentary states it is the uncle and not the dad who was doing the shooting the day after JW was abducted.

I am not surprised and shame on these parents for putting their beautiful child through this. What/why was the brother shooting at someone if this was a hoax? I pray Jamal in put with someone who will put him first.

This seems like a very similar story to the ‘kidnapping’ of Shannon Matthews in the UK back in 2008. It was the mother and uncle arrested behind it as well.

Criminal charges are now filed against a man accused in the kidnapping of 7-year-old Jamal White.

Corey Williams, 25, is charged with kidnapping (as a party to a crime), taking hostages (as a party to a crime) and contributing to the delinquency of a child (as a party to a crime).

Prosecutors say one of the other people involved in the kidnapping- a 14-year-old- was also arrested.

Williams is due in court for an initial appearance on July 17.

For now, it's just the arrestee's statement as to Jamal's mothers actions so since she's not named as a POI no more can really be said regarding her. If and when it's appropriate there will be further information. But thanks for the msm article - there's a lot on social media but we can't link any of that here as it's just rumor.

wouldn't surprise me. It is not average normal behavior for a home's occupants to whip out a gun and start firing shots at cars that drove by too slow. Nor is it normal for a father's first thought to be that someone is trying to rob him and his response is to run away abandoning his child to be abducted by said alleged robbers.

Every bit of it screams criminal behavior in that home. JMO

How sad that many children live in similar households and their "normal" is anything but.

Wishing JW the best moving forward even as I worry this is just one traumatic incident in a life that may offer more in future.

The 38-year-old called Jamal's mother and demanded $100,000 and jewelry in exchange for the boy. They were to meet at a nearby park.

Jamal later told police he heard his mother say she would come pick him up, but he teared up in the interview when he said she never showed up.

Det. Margaret Devito reports that she reviewed the cell phone records of the defendant. The records show that he made nearly 40 *67 calls to the mother of JDW between 7:33PM on July 11, 2025 and 2:39AM. Det. Devito also observed phone calls between the defendant and the other suspected individual not named at this time that took part in the kidnapping. There are 9 calls between 4:04PM and 4:44PM on July 11, 2025, a break of no calls, and then 12 calls between 8:49PM and 11:37PM on that same date.

I think BC may be the 14 year old who participated in the robbery gone awry turned abduction and has not been named MOO
