First visitors step onto canyon skywalk

PD, I was told that you literally can't fall on your face anymore. Is there any truth to that??

LOL, nope, I can still fall on my face... hehe

Price

Visitors must pay anywhere from $74.95 to $199 to walk on the Skywalk, depending on what other activities they do. (The tribe advertises a $49.95 rate on its Web site, but that just let's you "view" the Skywalk, not walk on it.)

put a slot machine at the end of it and see how many people show up.

regarding weight, on a video clip, they say that something like 7 747 airliners can stand on that thing and it won't fall becuase of how anchored it is into the rock.

me, id pay 75 cents , but certainly not 75 dollars to see it.

is it ugly? sure, but then so is mt rushmore if you're an indian.

My family has a second home in phoenix, We've done many of the "sites" Sedona, Jerome, Dutchmans cave, the train ride along the verde river ( my favorite ), mule rides down the canyon. I don't visit as frequently as the rest of the family but was told this area of the western rim, as opposed to the southern rim is really difficult to get to. A 25 mile drive down a really rouged dirt road. Far rougher than the dirt roads near sedona. I don't see the cash flowing in as easily as they hope.
