You read my mind TEH. I was just thinking a moment ago about posting this, because it is still bugging me. I do not think that LE would lie about something like this. I do not think they are willing to put their jobs on the line to lie in an affidavit being presented to a judge. Not only could that ruin their career, but it could blow the whole case. Therefore, I feel BD must be lying about this. The question is why? Is it just because she doesn't want to look bad, especially with all of the negative press lately and she *thinks* it'll look better if she lies about it? Is she just worried about being portrayed/viewed as a bad mom? Or is there something bigger than this? What is the deal with this?

If it is just to keep from looking bad....it's having the reverse effect. It's making her look bad and making people question what else she is lying about.

I'm with you and teh. I think "yes" it's just because she thinks it will make her look bad. She's got a whole schpeel going on here; from day 1 in the media. She is the victim, the innocent victim. That's her role and she's playing it til the end. Even when her own words are read back to her, she denies them and claims to be the victim of the one who captured them. Remember how outraged she was that this was being treating as a potential runaway first (though I think also think LE suspected her from the get-go)? Then about a week into the investigation she acts like it was cruel for LE to let her think it could be a runaway. Weird. And, if she didn't suspect Shawn and didn't suspect runaway, all that's left is abduction and she ain't making any pleas.
JMO...

You guys don't need to apologize about posting links that might have already been posted. I know I used to feel like that too. But there are a lot of people who can't read every post (like yours truly) and really appreciate the updates. :hug:

About a dozen people in white haz-mat suits had been sifting through debris from Colorado City that had been scooped by a yellow track loader

Could be the personal vehicle of somebody who was off work on a Friday until he or she was summoned to the landfill.
 
Nancy's show is going to be taped I think. Last night following her show at 8:00 the producers were on Facebook asking people to call in. This was at 9:00 so I am pretty sure it is taped tonight.

It has been modified many times and in the process has been extended so as to include the authority of the justice to investigate suicidal deaths, deaths due to accident, and other deaths. It is not known when a justice of the peace, in the exercise of his duties, first ordered a physician to undertake an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

I think it is important to remember there are two types of inconsistencies.

1. The ones she tells LE

2. The ones she tells the public.

She may very well not think it important or be afraid of telling the public some things, we already know for instance that she had told LE quite a while before about the drugs, yet she is still denying/dancing around it in public.

There is absolutely no reason to lie about the time she left work to LE. That is one of those easily confirmable things. It might drive us nuts but its possible that she said her hours are seven to seven in answer to a media question and then never bothered to correct it and once it became "the" time it was to late or would look worse.

Many parents make the mistake of thinking you need to make everything look like a perfect family with a missing child, partly guilt and partly to keep their name out there afraid that if people assume they are involved they won't keep looking for the child. Of course work is another problem when its drugs too.

I think we have all seen that too. Interest waning once it looks like it is due to obvious bad parenting/drugs.

Ok, just for reference to Belimom's post. This blue tarp does not look to me like they are collecting anything on it, but has been unearthed. Lots of people use old tarps like that to dispose of innocent things though, so means nothing by definition.

A parent is responsible for any harm done to their child when said parent opens her home to the person that threatened to kill her child and herself in the past.

My Mother use to work for our County Sheriffs Office, and she said that the ME vehicle has no markings and would certainly be escorted in by police if something was found FYI.
