Once AGAIN JBP has to school Baez...In the Order JBP writes:

"However, the Defense has not alleged that the individuals listed in the Supplemental Witness list filed Feb 14, 2011 were not previously known , nor have they set forth the date the witness became known or any reason for the late disclosure"
The Defense shall be given an opportunity to show good cause as required by Rule 3.220 and this Court's general discovery Order."

Can't wait - and I see HHJP also added that ICA is required to attend this hearing.

Wow! HHJP is already starting the schooling in the scheduling motion. Oh this is going to be a fun one. is anyone else sensing that JB may end up having yet another bad day?

The defense also wants to add two more people to the list – well-known psychiatrist Dr. Danzinger and a Boca Raton doctor.

The defense wants them to testify concerning Anthony's state of mind now that Judge Belvin Perry has ruled statements made by the young mother could be used against her at her trial.

------------any ideas who the dr. is from Boca Raton?

I think it's something to do with George. Isn't that where his parents live? Where was he hospitalized for the attempted suicide? We heard about an affidavit George has to sign so maybe it is some kind of release for his medical records from that time.

GA's parents live in Ft. Meyers.

He was found at the motel during the "suicide attempt" in Deltona.

This is a weird twist. The state isn't going to use MD so the defense wants it to look like the reason is because she has exculpatory evidence is why they no longer want her. I think the prosecution would still need to hand over that discovery even if they did not intend to use this witness but I may be wrong. Possibly she can verify that one of other inmates like RA or River Cruz' sister were known for trying to set up inmates for deals with the prosecutor. That kind of info would not be helpful to the state but since they are using RA then maybe it is to discredit her.

..dr.danziger was also one of the 2 doctors judgeS assigned to do the psych eval following the july 2008 bond hearing.

I'm guessing that they are "reaching out" for something that isn't there---and they have tried "up" but nothing....soooooooooo now they are reaching really really low---in a "downward departure" type of way----either that or its the new angle for the defense to use??? Ugly coping???

ohhhhhh another one could be once affiliated with the defense of ica your career is a "downward departure" of what it was???? ---

"Mental health, medical or psychosocial information warrants more compassionate sentencing resulting in downward departure. Upon review of input from a forensic psychiatrist or other physician, a judge may consider downward departure in the form of a lesser sentence."

I have limited understanding of how these lists work. But, do we have the "updated" defense list? I am confused because of thinking it has changed, but I could be wrong about that too...anyway bumping hoping those who know of what they speak would give an update on the subject of the thread.

WESH spoke of Adams and Derkovic and the I saw the name of Kenneth Drupiewksi on the list..I guess he is the one added from their Penalty Phase List

Interesting that the Defense is adding a witness that was not, as far as we know, part of Caylee's life and had not been hanging out with Casey for many years...
Why bring in a Witness with No apparent current connection, other than they "dated" in High School?

I think Kenneth was the name that was in the "ghost writing" that was found by the FBI or Secret Service? :waitasec: I will find the diary thread but I think that was the name that appeared in the ghost writing found in the diary.

Kenneth Drupiewski was listed to rebut the State's attempts to introduce a diary written by Miss Anthony while she was a juvenile in high school. Despite the obvious date of 2003 on the diary the State has at tax payers expense, spared no expense in utilizing both FBI and Secret Service to date this diary to fit their time line. Despite their inability to do so, this does not appear to deter the State in presenting this evidence. Mr Drupiewski is one of the individuals mentioned in the diary and will be able to testify about the timing of breaking up with Casey Anthony as a high school student.
