Sentinel wins battle for Casey Anthony witness list
Judge Perry rules against sealing names
"To the contrary, many potential penalty phase witnesses are presumably already known to the public at large and are already associated with this case," Perry wrote. "Release of any known individual's name could not possibly deprive the defendant of her fair trial rights.
"Even for witnesses not known," Perry said, "counsel's conclusory assertion that some witnesses may be reluctant to come forward is insufficient to demonstrate a real threat to the defendant's fair trial rights. Any penalty phase witness will testify in an open courtroom and be publicly identified with this case."
The defense has not shown the delayed association of those witnesses with the case will protect Casey Anthony's "fair trial rights," Perry concluded.
The list of penalty phase witnesses provided today does identify Casey Anthony's close family members, including her parents and brother, many friends, ex-boyfriends and others already long associated with the case. Included on that list are familiar names such as Jesse Grund, Ricardo Morales Anthony Rusciano, Anthony Lazzaro and Amy Huizenga.

 I was asking the very same question and had the same difficulty in finding a list of witnesses from the defense. I am kind of glad I was not the only one...
I figured I'd "just go get it" but I have been looking and not able to find a true document. :dunno: This article is the most recent I have found so far, but I will continue to look. I did look here at WS in our resource threads, but I have not looked at everything.
I want to know!
It seems by this article, like everything else with the defense "smoke and mirrors" (copyright WS Astros).

What does a new list of defense witnesses in Casey Anthony’s case mean?
“That list is pretty brief,” WESH-Ch. 2 anchor Martha Sugalski said tonight.
WESH’s Bob Kealing agreed, noting that four of the eight names were expert witnesses. “The list would have been longer but Judge Belvin Perry denied the use of more tax money to pay for them,” Kealing added.
Kealing listed the experts: a
Colorado plant expert, a Nebraska insect expert, a Canadian forensic anthropologist and a Florida International University professor.
WFTV-Ch. 9’s Kathi Belich also listed the experts and speculated that the defense will rely on the insect expert to “refute … damning evidence” that Anthony put daughter Caylee’s body in her car trunk. Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in Caylee’s death.
