I think he must have died in NH that would be the only reason I can come up with as to NH taking over but that is my opinion. A big difference between the 2 states is capital punishment. ME does not have the death penalty and NH does. Without more info it would be premature to say if it will be a capital punishment case as we do not know her mental state of if there will be a plea.
This is what I was talking about.About capital punishment.I wasn't wishing death on anyone.I did not mean to offend any one.I'm sorry.Just that the person who killed this sweet little boy gets the appropiate and highest punishment they deserve. This was a sweet little boy that precious life was taken way way too early and it was wrong.

Focus of unidentified boy's body in Maine moves to New Hampshire

SNIPPED>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

McCrery has been arrested on drug and prostitution charges in the past. She has two sons, Camden, and an older son, I**, who is a culinary specialist in the U.S. Navy.

McCrery wrote a sleeping aid book entitled "Good Night Sleep Tight: How to Fall Asleep and Go Back to Sleep when You Wake Up."

All questions are now being directed to the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office.

I do personally still feel that this may be accidental. I see nothing so far to indicate that this was premeditated and purposeful.

From what is being reported she admitted that she drove here to take his life though until that is stated by LE it cannot be confirmed as a fact. We will have to wait and see what is said in the morning on that piece

Mother of Mystery Maine Boy Confesses to Killing Son and Dumping Him on Rural Road: Sources

A Texas woman has confessed to killing and dumping her son's body along a rural road in Maine, sources told ABC News.

The 6-year-old boy, Camden Pierce Hughes, was dumped by Julianne McCrery. McCrery told police that she accidentally gave her son too much cough syrup, the sources said

"At 10:20 this morning, we received a call from a citizen who had seen prior coverage of this investigation…we responded with several troopers there and engaged …the lone occupant of the vehicle and that's why we're here now," Procopio said.

The "lone occupant," McCrery, was in a blue Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, the same type of truck that authorities have been frantically searching for since Camden's body was discovered Saturday. She told a Massachusetts state trooper that she killed her son and was contemplating killing herself, sources told ABC News.

I thought it was reported somewhere she confessed to killing him and went up there to do it.

I just looked at her book on amazon and it's interesting. The title seems odd though. I'm kind of wondering if she could have given him "extra" Nyquil to sleep, because she deals with being sleep deprived. Just more guessing.

Local LE says she admitted pre meditation and I just read the article that says she accidentally gave to much cough meds I guess we wont really know until they release the info as those reports totally conflict.

Wouldn't it take an awful lot of cough meds to actually cause death> I am personally not sure on that

OOPS I meant to say local media not LE reporting premeditation sorry!

Sorry for double posting but just heard that the grandmother said she could imagine that Juli would kill her son. She had just lost her job and was at the end of her rope!

Thought this info is important!

I just dont know what to think.

The pictures and video's dont show a vile woman that would dump her son in a driveway.

The book is extremely odd. I am betting on a long history of mental illness. My son is about to turn 6 and he really is my whole world. He is my best friend, (cuz ya know we hang out alot)
I wake up and he is my first thought ,if some accident happened no way could I do this. I could see not letting anyone touch him or staying in the home with his body ,but driving away from my baby. NO.

I dont know what was going on in her head or what was, maybe shock or something. Maybe she did dose him up with Nyquil didnt reealize until it was to late but a frantic call of someone who was trying to save their child I would think is a very normal responce.

To pled from help in a helpless position is something people normaly do isnt? I think She intended to kill him.

I am really just in shock.

What if it is accidental? How sad if it is. She seemed to love both her son's. She raised an American Soldier. She's taken photos and videos of him. He does not seem abused. She seems distraught, but of course that could be an act. Thinking about the videos though and photos and kind words she said about him on facebook....I think it was definitely an accident and not on purpose. I mean it still could be that she was giving it to him to sleep the drive home, but is there anyway to possibly know what her intension's were in giving it to him? I don't get why she left him though on the side of the road unless she was just freaking out mentally. I mean why too did she stay in the area and not go back to Texas? Maybe she couldn't leave him? I've heard when someone leaves a body that if it's wrapped in a blanket that, that usually is done by someone who cared for them. My understanding is time of death was at about 5:30 and he was found at 7:30. So within 2 hours she made this decision to leave him after she just traumatically lost her son. I don't know. I sorta have pity and sadness for her. I know she was busted for drugs and prostitution. I know she also wrote some book on sleeping aids. Those don't seem like good things...but I don't know enough about them to think one thing or the other.

I wish I could say I too felt pity for her but I don't. Nyquil is not a medicine that should ever be given to a child. I think we as a society may have a bit too lax of an attitude regarding giving children a little something to sleep because parents can't be bothered to take the time to teach children how to fall asleep on their own.

I may feel differently if it is released he had been ill and this was an accidental overdose based on him being sick, but if she drove from TX to ME/NH rather than consulting a pediatrician I think it is unlikley this was accidental.

Many things say premeditation to me as well. She told her LL she was coming to Boston for her aunt's funeral so she lied and planned a trip to come here for some reason. Also, even though he seemed well cared for and well dressed that could have been for appearances and we don't know about behind closed doors. the FB account does not go back that far. Possible emotional abuse going on but that is just an opinion I have. Also, the username on her youtube account is very telling to me.

Can't believe that the truck were found from my hometown & not too far from where the rest area is! But I'm glad he's identified.

I wish she'd just given him over to a family member or friend for a while until she could deal with whatever issues she was having. I don't understand why people don't do that. It's just unimaginable to me.
