I voted that the defense had nothing to do with it because it looked like Casey was angry and trying to hold it in, rather than sick, and I didn't think that the defense would have anticipated that at all.

Still on the fence about what truly happened to Caylee, but I think Casey should have to attend her trial and witness the evidence on what happened to her daughter, and this looked as though she was trying to get out of having to do that.

I don't really know for sure but think it would take much more for ICA to be removed to another room to listen to the trial on speaker. Thinking of the Manson trial and a few others and how much they did before being removed from the court room.

I saw a look of pure disgust at Casey's very first reaction to the pictures! Did anyone else see that?

I didn't vote because none of the choices fit my feelings. Casey's "illness" was feigned and a very lame attempt to appear distressed by the photos of her child's remains. She knew that the jury and everyone else in the courtroom would be aghast and want to know what kind of monster would do this to a beautiful child. Attention was focused on the little girl who's life was taken much too soon, and Casey couldn't deal with it. jmo

I agree 100%.

I voted other. It was mentioned many times throughout the day the jury wasn't paying much attention to ICA but had their attention riveted to their screens and the testimony.

I'm guessing they might believe it was ended early due to some sidebar/objection/issue that came up while they were at break and the judge felt it could take a long time to straighten it out. Knowing how well HHJP treats them, he thought it prudent to end early rather than press on and keep them sitting there while the lawyers worked it out.

I'm also guessing it was fairly emotional for them as well and maybe they thought the Judge felt an early break would be in order.

The jury probably hopefully can put two and two together and notice that CA was in distress today, I really don't think its the much of a mystery to them what happened, but who knows. Casey is never going to take a plea.

Sorry, I don't believe she was in distress (except that SHE wasn't getting extra attention.)

I never ONCE saw the tissue with a wet spot on it. Handkerchiefs hide wet spots..........tissues do NOT!!!

IMO it was an acting job..... and not a good one at that.

Casey never viewed the skull pix. I was watching her and she only looked at the first few foliage pix. Her attorneys told the media at lunch that she never saw any of the remains pix. That includes today in the courtroom. She did hear the graphic descriptions however, but again, did not look at any of the remains photos.

First Baez gets sick and doesn't come back to court. Now KC gets sick and disrupts another afternoon of proceedings. This defense team is pathetic. KC was so angry that today wasn't all about her she had an anxiety attack. I hope the judge has the common sense to MAKE her sit there every single day from now own unless she actually passes out onto the floor or has a REAL seizure and froths at the mouth. Other than that, the DT needs to stop messing with this trial and get on with it. They are an abomination.

I have to make one more comment. I used to love when Dr. Kobelinski was on NG, etc. he was so sweet. Now that he has been hired by the defense team, every time he is on one of these shows, he comes up with ridiculous reasons why the "facts" aren't really "fact's" anymore. What happened to the brilliant opinions he used to have on other cases? He had a completely different attitude about the evidence on this case before the DT got ahold of him. Now I can't stand to look at him or hear his voice. Along with anyone on the DT.

Oh my stars, I had no idea he had anything to do with the DT! Every time I've heard him lately, I've thought "what the hello happened to him?".

I am wondering if she will plead guilty to end this...

I wish, I sincerely do. I wish she would tell exactly what happened and put an end to the cloud of suspicion she's hung over all sorts of folks' heads now. But I just do not believe that will ever happen. ICA is never going to admit her role in this. Every story she has spun to explain her involvement has left her thoroughly victimized. This has been her pattern throughout her life (as far as we know or have been given information to understand). If she pleads guilty, she will own the death of her daughter.

Just don't think it will ever happen, but of course, I could be wrong and I hope I am. :cow:

So I just got done watching the DVR. Mixed Emotions I guess...

I think today was a show. No doubt about it.

But, then again, all this is the first time ICA is seeing all of this right? I mean Caylee drowned, GA found her, RK hid her. So she is torn apart finally seeing what happened to her daughter.

OK back to reality.

It was a show. I won't argue that and I am not sticking up for her. But, what is she really supposed to do? Smile for the cameras, Crack jokes like her lawyers maybe organize a file? Guilty or not this is the only option of "acting" she has got no?

Also, there was some real tears today. Clearly visible running down her cheek on In Session. Why does everyone act as if not one really fell? What I have noticed is that when Casey really does have a tear run down her face she normally doesn't wipe them real slow with a tissue. She uses her fingers.

JUST MY OPINIONS AND OBSERVATIONS.

With all that out of the way I was quite disgusted watching her acting and she is not up for any awards anytime soon.

I was watching Insession then the other channel. There might, might have been one tear at first out of that right eye, but she had pressed in on the lower eyelid at least a minute before ever beginning to "cry". Coincidentally, that was the side that she dabbed at most and the side that faced the camera. I never actually saw any tears but saw a streak that was where she would put her hand and finger holding the tissue up against the cheek. She went back and forth in some sort of pattern dabbing at the right side (the same spot she had previously pressed on very hard) then dabbing the corner of the left eye then blowing and pinching the nose. The tears must have flowed out of the exact same spot the whole time...... I don't know if she was eventually complaining about her hand, but did notice that she twice stopped and looked at her bare wrist. That was way before the break and before she wiped her eye with her sleeve. Hopefully she wasn't thinking of suicide and is on some type of watch.

I watched the entire trial coverage today and I have yet to see a "real" tear that fell from Casey's face today. I saw her dab her eye with a kleenex, I saw her scrunch up her nose, I saw what looked like "devil's horns" on her forehead where her veins were protruding but I did not see a tear.

When I cry, I do the "ugly" cry. My eyes are all red and swollen, my nose & cheeks turn red, and I have to blow my nose quite a bit. If I get "teary-eyed", I still drop tears and my cheeks & nose still turn red. Anyone that knows me can tell if I've been crying because my entire face tells on me.

I hear what you are saying. I'm not looking to argue with anybody here but, people like Dr. Glass and others that want to write that not one tear fell gets to me. Call a spade a spade I guess. She shed a few tears in between all the faking and poor acting.

I think KC was not ill, but having some kind of a meltdown. In the end I concluded she was just in a rage. I noted her body language with the deputy escorting her out after court recessed for the day. Her body said "take your hands off of me". She is a black hole of anger, and what happened in court today made her boil over.

I just posted this on the Sidebar thread, but it fits here:

I hope the majority of the jurors can see this for exactly what it is: A defense-team-coached scene by the defendant that would detract from the somber testimony of the day. The DT couldn't handle it, and neither could their client, so they let her play the part to get them all out of the courtroom for the day and let the jury recall that Casey was so distraught and overcome with grief upon seeing the remains of her daughter that it made her ill. NOT! The DT's intentions were to disrupt the proceedings and leave the jury thinking about Casey instead of Caylee. I am very angry and

I am in complete agreement with you. What a great post!

I keep hoping she will jump up, confess and throw herself on the mercy of the court. I guess it's to much to ask of KC to something honorable though. Pity, such a pity.

txsvicki,
I watched the video of ICA dabbing her eyes several times. She imo was trying to make it appear she was crying. You know if she squished her lids down hard enough, she could make her eyes red.

I think ICA is a sociopath, she will never take her own life. She thinks she's too important to die.

ICA has never cared for Caylee Marie enough to sum up the energy to shed even one real tear. The fake under-eye dabs and nose pinches should be constantly pointed out to her media fans. The white wrap she had on today was a joke on her and I hope the jury recognizes this ploy. Also, they need to adjust her chair height so she can't be viewed as an unfortunate young helpless victim. Hopefully tomorrow's trial will have more breaking news and the ruse that got her off today can't work a second time.
