REVISIT There wasn't a babysitter, Casey didn't have a job,What's going on?

From what we have seen she just went out at lunchtime (to go to work) then as soon as GA was at work (3-11pm) she went back home and lazed around, or she dropped Caylee off with CA at her work close to quitting time, then went out socializing with friends.
AS long as someone else was babysitting she was a free agent....

Until.........June 15th.......when there was an alleged argument.....then she kept Caylee away from G and C to punish them. They were fed up with her. She slept there that night and Caylee died the next day. She was never missing. They keep saying she doesn't act like a mother of a missing child, over and over, and over. How could she? SHE WAS NEVER MISSING. Therefore she was conscious all along of that.........equals = guilt, IMO.

Master manipulator indeed. I have no doubt that she was! But her parents let her be so. They accepted anything she offered. Why? What were their secrets? What failings were they covering for? I don't believe that they commited this crime but they certainly tried to help cover it up. What does that say about them?

ETA - She's guilty as sin imo. Don't get me wrong. I just think the whole family stinks.

I don't believe they tried to "COVER IT UP" but rather Cindy was used to dealing with the lies, fibs, stories, etc. GA wasn't as tolerant but CA would step in and take over telling him time after time, she would handle it. I've seen it in the videos before the public with the protesters in the yard most times, etc. I'm not saying that was right but I am saying I believe it happened ICA's entire life or at least from the onset of her starting to go into this fantasy world which is alleged to have started after she had Caylee. I have my doubt about that also. Whatever, whenever, this woman is hiding the how and why her baby daughter died for a reason. Good parenting, bad parenting, is no excuse for this. She needs to take responsibility for this, even if it's for the first time in her life. She's left a wide wake of destruction with whomever has come in contact with her and it's time to fess up.

Maybe Casey's and Caylee's whereabouts during the day for the two years preceeding Caylee's disappearance will be a big part of the defense strategy. I have a feeling they are going to pull some rabbits out of their hat when they start presenting their witnesses.

She wasn't really tan and so that suggests to me that she was indoors somewhere. JMO

Interesting trying to figure out what Casey did with Caylee all day. I have a feeling she hung out at a friends home while the friend worked.

Not to play devil's advocate here, but what I can't get past in the hooker theory is that if CA was moonlighting as a hooker, there should be a witness - another hooker, the escort agency she worked at - LE would have connected with Vice at some point and asked around and gotten some evidence to this - phone records of calls with clients, transactions made, etc. I just find it hard to believe that, with all we know about what CA did, and how often she was texting and/or on the phone, that there wouldn't be SOME indication of this sort of activity. CA is an arrogant sociopath who pretty much lies all the time and has no moral boundaries, at least from what I can ascertain - she's not so slick as to be able to hide such evidence, IMO.

I recently watched a program on Discovery ID (48 Hours or the like) in which a woman was murdered. By all accounts she was a devoted and well respected mother with a respectable career. (I wish I could remember more details, but I can't.) It wasn't until way late into the investigation that they discovered she was an escort that advertised ' private massage services' under an assumed name to earn extra income. No one ever knew, not friends or family.

With ICA's uncanny ability to lie, I don't find this scenario so far fetched. She wouldn't want her friends to know she wasn't the successful event planner she portrayed. Since she often had to work evenings in her pretend job as an event coordinator, she could schedule 'dates' accordingly. As far as phone records and texts not revealing this activity, there's the story of the missing phone. Perhaps she had a separate phone for this activity?

Just a thought...

You bring up some good points but I think it would be easier to hide than we think. I also think she didn't make many "dates" because she probably didn't like doing it with guys she found unattractive. If she did it she did it only when desperate. JMO

It's possible that Casey convinced her parents that her paycheck went almost entirely to providing "nanny-care" not day-care for Caylee. They would approve of that decision. Their daughter was employed as an "event planner" (sounds successful)...their granddaughter being well cared for INDIVIDUALLY by a Nanny (sounds upscale.)

Pretty lies. Cindy liked pretty lies.

Cindy was used to working hard to fund the whole family operation. Casey was well-schooled in the ways to lie to Mom that pleased Mom and allowed her to have everything she (Casey) wanted without any effort on her part.

Watching the jailhouse videos yesterday, reaffirmed how co-dependent Cindy is/was on Casey's pretty lies. At this point, both she and George KNOW there was no job. Yet they still believe (or pretend to believe)that somehow their unemployed daughter was funding a Nanny.

How deluded can this family be? No job=no money to pay a Nanny. In order to find Caylee, they need to know where the child really was during the day...what people were really around her...but instead they fixate on this "Nanny"...that they now KNOW Casey could not afford!

And if Casey wasn't paying her, if Zanny was a daycare "volunteer"...now, these grandparents should be trying to find out WHY? What's the deal? But instead they cling to as much of her story as they can.

Casey managed to get by with a little stealing, a little mooching off friends and boyfriends, and a lot of lies to Mommy. I think she "hung out" either at home or at friends/boyfriends apartments...or in malls, parks, etc. Just getting through the day..texting...calling friends..waiting for sundown.

In essence, SHE was the Nanny for Cindy's beloved Caylee. She began to be both jealous and resentful...and , in her way, got out of that "job" the only way she could.

I know there is some time left in this case but I can't see how the prosecution can not bring in more about the fact that she for 2 years had no job and got dressed, created fake emails and pretended that she did. What was she doing? What was she doing with Caylee when she was "at" work? Was Caylee accounted for all those days she was "at" work? I am not 22 but with no income I would be hard pressed to find something to do for hours with a child away from the house with no money.

Also, according to JB she was sexually abused by her dad and wanted to protect her child. If that is the case wouldn't it make more sense to get a "real" job make some money and get her child out of the house of the man that abused her? The defense is so far fetched and CRAZY!

I admit, I haven't followed this case from the beginning. Actually, I didn't start following it closely until January of this year so if I'm wrong about this or if it has already been covered, I apologize. Ok, Casey was supposed to have had the nanny for quite sometime before Caylee disappeared, correct? From what I gather, all or most of her friends have stated that they never babysit Caylee....am I wrong on this? Cindy and George have said that when Casey would come home and Caylee wasn't with her they would ask her where Caylee was and she would say with the Nanny. Ok, we all know there was never a nanny. If Caylee wasn't with Casey at times when she came home and her friends weren't babysitting....where was Caylee??? The reason this bugs me is because all I can see is this little girl alone somewhere quite a few times before she was killed :(. I have never heard anyone address this and it has bothered me for quite some time. I know it's a little late to be posting questions like this since the trial is pretty much over but I just wanted to see if I am right or wrong in thinking this horrible thought. Please tell me I'm wrong :(

I don't remember the Anthony's saying that Casey came home without Caylee, but others may know more about it or remember. I know that the Grund's babysat Caylee as a baby and the neighbor friend of Casey's also babysat while she was supposedly at work. When Casey was supposed to be at work she was really out with friends, so I doubt if she came home on a pretend lunch hour. Didn't Casey and Jesse break up when Caylee was about 6 months old? I still don't know if George worked all of Caylee's life or just part of it to know if he babysat during the day or not.

This bothers lots of us and is unresolved, the mystery lingers.

Lauren Gibbs sat with Caylee for free until one day she needed to speak to Casey so she called the Sports Authority where Casey said she worked and found out they had never heard of Casey... Lauren then quit since she was doing this as a kind guesture to help a struggling single mom.....

A lot of us speculated that the zanny could be Xanax but the question is unanswered of where Caleet slept this drug off. :(

I truly believe that this poor child spent a lot of time in the trunk of Casey's car. I think that she was sedated and put there on many occasions. It is sickening to imagine, but I feel that this is the case.

I can't believe this, because she could've been dead in an hour in a trunk in Florida heat. It's just too hot there to be locked in a car regularly and not to have died I think when KC said Caylee was staying at the nanny's, were the times she stayed with KC at Ricardo's etc.

I don't recall the Anthony's ever saying that Casey came home without Caylee, either :waitasec:
Not before the 31 days.

Having spent alot of time in Florida, I can't believe ICA would have put Caylee in her trunk on a regular basis. It's HOT in Florida much of the time and there is little ventilation in a car trunk. ICA is evil, but even she would know it's too risky to put a sleeping child in a trunk in Florida.
