I'm not convinced that some journo hasn't jumped the gun here. They are saying on Sky news that her body is still to be formally identified.

ETA Martin Brunt just said on Sky that Met have issued a statement to say they believe it's the body of TS.

I think someone has taken that to mean formal identification is complete when it isn't

I honestly don't see what is taking so long to formally identify her,it's just my opinion that this wouldn't be that hard to do (ive been looking up decomp etc via the body farm and other places) in my mind the only times that it would be hard to identify after 7/8 days would be horrible mutilation, or burned to a crisp.

If they can't formally identify her surely they shouldn't have named her in SHs charge sheet.

as far as the ladder scenario
if there had been one you would expect Police to carry out as evidence as someone just mentioned
also if had been there before the police owuld have no doubt used on an earlier search

I doubt very much the loft would have had a loft ladder as they cost at cheapest £150, then you have to have some good diy skills to fit and only worth doing if boarding out flooring and using

almost all homes either have a set of steps or ministeps, with just 2 steps
useful for reaching top shelves in kitchens etc and for cleaning
tbh that or even a chair would have done as SH is tall imo
at least 6 ft I would say
may 6'2" ish

stand on a chair in a small house you can push hatch over
then he has a pretty strong physique imo too
could have lifted up and placed to side, then dragged himself in and moved over

I'm still flabbergasted the body wasn't found in full view and with the smell
the smell would have been strong

drug addicts and dealers are notoriously good liars and sneaky
but how can you hide a body..... you can't
even he was probably in disbelief at the incompetence of the police
or to be fairer to them, maybe the incompetence of a couple of individuals in the force

the really sad thing, is if even a handful of police had come on a drugs charge
they would have found a bag of drugs, even in the loft imo

as some past detectives and chiefs have already commented
the police weren't thinking inside the box, let alone outside it! imo

What factors are you using in your model? Decomposition is differentially regulated by a multitude of factors - particularly temperature. Lofts tend to be quite warm in the summer, which would accelerate the rate of composition - however we don't know the exact temperature, nor other potential factors which could be important determinants.

I'm curious to know whether the fairground that was allegedly searched actually has a ghost train/ ghost related ride. For some reason I was brought in mind of ScoobyDoo when it was mentioned in the infamous interview.

London highs in the period Tia went missing ranged from 69° (20.5C) on the seventh to 80° (26.7C) on the tenth, with the average of the other days being about 72° (22.2C). Not sure how much one would add for a loft/attic area - ten extra degrees Fahrenheit?

I don't know if someone has already mentioned this, or whether I thought of it myself! The thread's expanding so fast I can't be sure any more. Sorry if it has.

Anyway, I'm thinking of some of the things Gran said: "I know she's not staying away through choice", and "I think someone's taken her". Supposing Tia had been gagged (mouth and nose) and put in the loft as punishment for something she'd done to annoy either Gran or SH. Well, she wouldn't have been 'staying away through choice'.

And suppose that when SH or Gran or both went to let her out, she had already suffocated? So maybe no one meant to actually kill her, and it was just a very cruel punishment that went too far.

Lost it for a bit there. Sorry

Took myself for a walk

Sincere apologies. I don't usually sink so low. There are no excuses

lol, seriously ?

it was more sarcasm than anything else.

Canadian relatives of mine expected me to talk like Dick Van Dyke when i turned up at their house in Toronto so that was exactly what they got, funny as hell.

Is it possible to resize the map at all? It's so big that I have to scroll to the right a long way to read a post. Makes it hard if you can't see the full post without scrolling.

Attaching a screenshot so you can see what I mean. Look at the scroll bar at the bottom.

Is anyone else having the same problem? If not, ignore me :D

Oh, hope that pic comes out bigger than it looks in the preview!

if it helps i can edit the posts and add the maps as links instead

just speculation on my part, bin liners are commonly known as "black bags" around here.not sure about anywhere else in the uk though.

from the houses i have lived in and the many i have been in there isnt a "drop down" ladder to the loft unless it has been converted to a fully functioning room.

maybe there was a ladder in the house and the reason the police took their own is they didnt want to tamper with potential evidence or there wasn't a ladder and he used a dining room chair or something to that effect

i have a ladder that drops down from my loft and its still a loft full of junk up there, just makes life a bit easier than having to go get a ladder and hump it up the stairs all the time.

Thanks. It should be okay if people just link to the map post rather than including the quote in full. This page is fine.

just went back to edit them and it seems i cant edit posts that are over a certain age by the looks of it.

Maybe a Mod can do this for me instead

Thanks

Does anyone know what the procedure will be if SH pleads guilty?

Also, with regards to the loft, if SH is tall then I don't think he'd have any problems with heaving her body up there, as I doubt they're all that high up in small homes.

Don't worry about it. We're past that page now.

I heard the post mortem won't resume until Thursday, which makes me think that those who specialise in certain areas, like strangulation, are being called in to ensure that no stone is left unturned after the criticism the police are getting for not finding Tia sooner.

most standard ceilings are about 7 feet ish

whether he was tall or not, there would be almost no way he would be able to get a body up there either without a ladder or help.

i have a loft ladder and even taking a box full of junk up into mine can be a challenge if i don't get my balance right and i'm 42 and pretty fit and 6ft 1.

I guess that would depend on how it was insulated if at all.I had a survey done and I was surprised I had None, nada zilch and that explained Why my house was freezing in winter.now I have it properly done I feel like a Turkey cooking in a very big oven.

I posted the other day about Hazell cutting off his hair and Lurkio has posted similar recently.
Have a look at this Photo

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...red-Tias-body-wrapped-in-black-bed-sheet.html

If that was Hazell in the back of that car on the original photo below, his hair grows like nobodys business

One of my best friends who is no longer with is,could shave his beard and I swear within 4/5 hours he had a full beard going on not just stubble.same with his hair,he could shave it right down to a number 1 and he'd come round the next day like David ginola

do we know how tall he is? Or just an average guess?

My sons dad is 6ft7 and he could throw me up into my loft with no trouble,my ceilings are higher than 7ft Maybe closer to 8 or more.

guess it depends where you live lol

i think those houses have ceilings of about 7 ish feet, its been 5 years since i've been in one so i cant say i remember too well but i could easily reach the loft hatch with my hand.

Nobody would really look twice at two blokes carrying a rolled up carpet either or a big bag taped up or anything else for that matter as nobody round there see's anything.

Its one of those places where unless it involves you then you don't get involved and you don't want to know as the less you know the less you can tell anybody else.

Sounds like Detroit's motto - snitches get stiches....depressing really.
