Good one, sorry I found your post super funny...

My son is the same way! My niece recently got married, and my son wouldn't smile in any of the pics...even the professional ones! I was so pissed at him, but that's the way he is. And I can assure everyone, he has a happy home life. He's just a contrarian.
You're not mean enough! I trained my from the time he was little, he just better slap a smile on his face when I take a picture, or we will be at it all day.
Everyone notices too, like when last year he was called to the stage to receive an award, as he was shaking the hand of the presenter with one hand, he was holding up the award in another, turned to me, smiled and waited till the flash went off, before he moved!
Yeh, some of it is his body language. He looks defensive, removed from the group. All the others are standing straight up and he's leaning against the wall, sullen. That's what I see anyway.
If I was sitting across the table from God, the last thing I would be thinking about is my cell phone!
Oh Lord, let me send you Paul. He would break you, I promise.
Gee, I'm from NC but I love Boston! Dewey Evans, and his unique batting stance, was my fave!
I'm sure we'd be best of friends:what:
Can we explore the following -- I'll leave it wide open--
If this search doesn't produce any leads or evidence (or "clues")...
What next?
Where do we go from here?
What should LE do now? What do you think their next moves will be, other than obviously continuing on with the task force? What can WE do with the same information and same conversations?
Where is Dylan?
eta: TexasEquuSearch?
I know they're having a silent auction and benefit dinner to raise money for finding Dylan - whatever that may entail (Private Investigator if needed at some point?), etc.
what else?
Oh Lord, let me send you Paul. He would break you, I promise.
When he was born, from day 1, he came home from the hospital crying his eyes out. He was inconsolable and I felt helpless and hopeless. My mother, who lived a couple hours from me, said, "Honey just let me come get him. He's only a few months old and there's no need to let him rule your life like this. He has to sleep sometime. Let me come get him for a few days and I will get him straightened out."
So, even though I was very attached and worried about sending off my little one, I did so. Surely my mother could work her magic on him.
Within 24 hours, she pulled into the drive. She was squalling and he was squalling. When I opened the door, she shoved the screaming bundle into my arms and said, "Honey, I'm so sorry....I don't know what you're going to do with him!" Then she turned around and drove home.
LOL!
This isn't me, I swear! I was a good boy! :blushing:
Ohh yeah, Dewey! He played in one of the best games ever... you know the one. I don't even have to say it. Gm 6. 1986. WS. RS/NYM. Buckner.
:floorlaugh:
Are we still friends? :seeya: Okay I'm gonna get back ontopic and behave!

I don't think Dylan lived a very happy life, but kids are able to be happy and enjoy things even in less than ideal situations. I don't think he was beaten or abused or that would have been made SUPER clear from court docs and the press would have been all over it if there was even a small case against either parent for beating him. But I gotta say he doesn't look happy in any of the pics I've seen really, but I don't read much into that except snooty, brooding teenagers. My kids went to yellowstone park some years back with grandparents and aunt . I got sent back all these great pics of my kids in front of wonderful sights, and my oldest ( 12 then ) looked like the most miserable person on earth in every one. Nothing was wrong with him. Just a moody , hormonal pout! Yellowstone National Flipping Park and he couldn't put a smile on in front of the Inn . So I think Dylan looks just about typical in all the pics. You couldn't determine his happiness or lack thereof by being a brat when the camera flashes. That's just the boy in him. i m h o , etc
I also have a boy who is a contrarian. He's close to Dylan's age, and I don't think I have a smiling picture of him since Xmas morning when he was 3! As soon as he realizes a camera is in the room, the insta-frown begins! It seems as he enters these more hormonal years, it only gets worse! Lol! Love him for it though, and wouldn't have it any other way!
I would never attempt to determine anything from a photograph. I've seen too many severely abused children smiling away in photos to count. A photograph is a split second in time frozen. Nothing more. IMO.
Black eyes, burn marks...I'll consider.
I wouldn't care if God was talking to me across the table, if my son is out there missing, I'm answering my phone! Maybe his ex wife or Cory was calling to say they found him, received a call from him....

I'm a bit behind. Do we have a link to this affidavit? Where was this stated?
