I remember the Laci Peterson case as an open and shut case. It was obvious he did it, but it was many years ago and I don't remember all the details. What exactly are the grounds of his appeal and the Innocence Project taking over? Could it be some new evidence? I would like to believe the...
It's such a shame that DNA matching is not yet possible in Europe, but it seems word of mouth pays off. The Interpol appeal worked for this case:
UK woman Rita Roberts identified 31 years after Belgium murder
Apart from the references to Belgium, we really don't know where "Jennifer Fairgate"...
"sodium, nitrate and fluoride" also come up as a mouthwash in google search.
I'm no expert in suicides but I find it very strange if they chose this method to die in a "suicide pact" and managed to die in separate rooms on their own.
What about the early reports about chlorine and chemicals...
Yes, this certainty that she died makes me think they have some sort of physical evidence. A photo or video. They just need more evidence to prove who did it.
You can't claim certainty that she died just by suspecting CB had something to do with it because he was in the area at the time.
What I don't get is why dig 3 holes so close to each other and not take soil samples from other areas nearby as well. They seem to be very specific about the spot.
I don’t know if this is even possible but, could they be trying to match dirt found in the fibers of the swimsuits found in CB's van to the dirt samples taken from the dam area in Portugal?
I don't know if this is reported anywhere else. On today's Sunday paper in Greece, there is an article about one of the police informants.
Apparently, he is the one that broke into CB's house to steal fuel and found the videocamera and videos depicting violent crimes including the rape of the...
I am a bit confused. Are the police supposedly looking for a video camera and a gun disposed of in the dam by the people who broke into CB's house or they are searching around CB's camp for evidence he himself might have left behind? Or is it both?
Good catch @avobo00! For one thing, it goes to show that Andrew was familiar with using the computer, not only playing with consoles. As for the internet, there is no telling if this computer had WiFi access or a LAN card. Most likely it was used without network access if the Gosden's say so.
I...
What I don’t get is how they managed to get the money. Wouldn't they need bank accounts under the fake names? Surely, with these kind of amounts, cash would be out of the question.
