That one isn't any newer than a 2014. They changed body styles in 2015. Looks to be a v6 car as well; those can be purchased for pretty reasonable prices.

Yup. I'm also willing to bet they'll be on a tac channel that the general public does not have access to. It always irritates me when I'm listening to something and they tell the cops/EMS/firefighters to switch to a tac channel lol. But I realize it's for a good reason.

Let's hope so. It will be very helpful if a camera or eyewitness is able to place BL in that van on 9/1. I keep hoping maybe some convenience store footage or something like that will pop up.

Unfortunately, it does not prove that BL was the driver. Unlike what you might see on CSI/NCIS/etc, these license plate readers do not normally create images with a high enough clarity to be able to see the driver in great detail.
