A question on the book title.
I have seen it referenced that somehow the R's wanted the title suppressed. I have also seen it referenced that it would be great to find evidence of a legal filing to suppress the title (which would then possibly support speculation on this being the adult...
I apologize for how this might read and it is not directed at anyone in general but is related to sometimes how these topics seem to go.
Here is something we know about the stun gun theory:
We know that the specific stun gun model that was part of Lou Smits theory was in fact not used as a...
I think a key point in this short discussion is that the hair not being intertwined in the garrote could be because it was made 3 weeks in advance or 5 minutes in advance of it's use by someone 2 feet away from her. I don't see how the lack of hair has any major relevance.
Are you thinking pre-meditation as in the Komrik 3 weeks in advance and we will do it on Christmas time frame kind or more simply, we thought she was dead and now we need to finish her so we will construct a garrote and then use that to strangle her with like 15 minutes of pre-meditation...
BBM - I had never heard or thought of this point before, but it is telling. Have there been formal contact attempts to get him to speak as referenced and were there any formal responses? As stated it just continues to reinforce family behaviors that reek of involvement/knowledge. Even if he...
Barnhill may have seen someone for sure, but it wasn't JAR. It's not hard for LE to clear someone who is across the country on Christmas day and then flying back out from Atlanta the morning after Christmas.
I wonder if the rope purchased (or available) at the hardware store was packaged and sealed? Sometimes rope is tied, but not sealed. If not sealed, could be someone at the hardware store that left TDNA on it as well or in fact any random person that might have browsed it.
Thank you for sharing the first chapter link to LHP's book. She certainly describes the unhealthy family dynamics in a lot of first-hand detail. I would imagine that the GJ found this to be very compelling in terms of an insider's perspective, especially one with lots of involvement with the kids.
I just listened to the James Kolar interview from December 2013 with Generation Why. It is very interesting and in hearing his words you really get a sense for how he is objectively looking at the evidence and various situations. It is worth a listen.
At the end they are discussing the...
They are also suspects based on many very unusual (and deceptive) behaviors that are so far beyond the norm of 'innocent' victim parents that it is nearly impossible to conceive them not being involved. In my opinion, that is one facet (in addition to evidence) that creates much of the emotion...
Could be, but the GJ indictments are also a relatively new item around the overall situation too and could have an effect on their view of risk. In the end we will likely never know, but if the book get shelved and never published it might lend more credibility to a liability risk concern.
I think this is plausible.
One thing that I have thought about is that it seems (based on medical/forensic discussion) that the limited bleeding in the brain is some kind of indication that the strangulation and death occurred relatively quickly after the head strike. I don't know anything...
