I agree, but having the label runaway didn't help much in this case, like in so many others. But she was a child, only 13 years old and this didn't happened in the 70's-80's. Isn't there a law that says they have to investigate if a missing persons case is about an underaged child?

For the record; they updated the Namus file for this Jane Doe. Even have a recon. It can not be Cheryl Davis because she was found in 1973 and Cheryl went missing in 1979.

Is it correct that there is no substantial evidence that this man made more rape/kidnapped victims or killed women? My guess is it would make a difference in the sentence he gets.
When I checked Jose Plazola's missing persons file in Namus, I noticed he is listed as Hispanic/Latino there. That wouldn't add up, although the Doe Network lists him as white.
