Most of these types of crimes are perpetrated by someone the victim knew. It is much rarer to have a true stranger abduction.

I used to work with those that had been trafficked and this is probably the first blatant case of trafficking I have seen here even though I've seen it is suggested in nearly every other case. Without the help of LE it will surely be an uphill battle.
