2010.03.08 - Nancy Grace!!! - Amber's Grandmother is going to be on!

Thanks for the heads up. The woman drives me NUTS. It's very hard to watch her so I try to avoid it. I never would have tuned it if I hadn't seen this!!

Plea or Tip? Will there be an arrest?

I have read so many articles that my head is spinning, but does anyone remember an interview with a neighbor of JAGs in Escondido who said they were surprised at the charges because he had teenage boys and girls over all the time? I thought that might give him a teen to lure her away. Just a...

Male Seen Walking With/Near Amber on Feb 13, 2009

I had the same thought considering Amber's parent's private investigator stated that he had known about the location where they found Amber today, that Texas Equusearch dogs had picked up her scent in that area and that Escondido PD hadn't followed up on it until yesterday (though FBI dogs had...

*Amber's Remains Found* Sheriffs Department Press Conference 3/7/10 - 3:30 pm

If it didn't come from Gardner, my guess is the Escondido PD was feeling the heat after all that was done from the moment Chelsea went missing and all they had refused to do for Amber. He may not have made a plea. They may have just felt pressured to step up their game and get some answers...

*Amber's Remains Found* Sheriffs Department Press Conference 3/7/10 - 3:30 pm

It's nice to see that they are willing to follow leads NOW as opposed to when she actually first disappeared and they kept claiming they had information she had run off to Mexico. :furious: .

You have to wonder how that former girlfriend feels now that this has happened.

No, but if she disappeared in Escondido, they won't take a report for days. They prefer to label the girls "runaways" like they did Amber. They're not known for being on top of things like the neighboring police department. And they're going to take a lot of heat for not organizing the same...

Over 5,000 people showed up for her vigil tonight. My mom said it was the most moving thing she has ever experienced. Chelsea's dad was there long enough to ask everyone to keep her spirit alive. I can't imagine what they are going through. She brought this community together in a manner...

I didn't realize that sarx. That really does make it a joke.

Big mistake admitting to a fight. They're all just going to keep telling her the girl is a runaway and not do anything about it.

His probation was up in 2008 so he was no longer being monitored. This means he had every right to be as close as he wants to a school. So my whole self righteous diatribe about his mom knowing he wasn't supposed to be that close to a school goes right out the window.

THEY'RE not welcoming anyone? No one but their murdering, sex offender son. That's rich. They better come up with a statement soon and it better be extremely apologetic. Maybe they're busy looking for a new home in another city. They are NOT welcome in this community anymore...

Someone posted a link to the article stating that the burgundy/red truck was cleared in Amber's case. It was the truck of a parent and no longer being looked for in Amber's case. They are looking at him because he lived within a mile or two of where Amber disappeared from. He liked young...

They SHOULD. They knew this was a violation of his terms. Yet, they chose to ignore it. I'm sure that they chose to ignore a lot of other behavior as well. :furious:

Weed them out early and eliminate them from society. That is the only way to do it. They are sick. There is no treatment and no prevention. We put down cattle, dogs, why not people? I know that is an extremist view and I'm not saying we do it to the 23 year old with the 16 year old...

And a large hill she was looking down off of? Hard not to be in eucalyptus trees, given the terrain there. She also wasn't on a hill, but at the shoreline.

So true. Humans are the ones who delight in inflicting pain, knowing it is painful.
