When I went to Bora Bora 3 years ago they had phones, and gasp even computers. Get real. He can contact this expert. And if he can't tough cookies. He should have talked to her before the expert left on vacation. It's not like she couldn't take care of her cat and talk to JB .... ridiculous

... and JB's excuse was that folks just don't return his calls!!! So he gets quizzed by HHJP on assistants and/or receptionists. Common sense means.

Doh!! JB ... if folks are ignoring you week after week after week and you repeatedly try to connect and still don't get them ... maybe you should consider that the expert is -- no longer on board and is avoiding you ... like the plague?

Obviously JB is using this excuse as a delaying tactic and the "unique opportunity" to all meet face-to-face at the conference is just to delay until end Feb.

He does NOT want to reveal his hand (lack of) at this time.

I was embarrassed for him, maybe a little, at first. But, after almost 3 years of his charades, I just get angry anymore. He keeps saying to the court that this case is different, but it is not. It is only different to him. To the rest of us, it is yet another mother who murdered her child. Justice must be served, not circumvented. Moo.

Maybe Dr. Reich's is on a Blackberry - mine has an ignore button I can press when I get a nuisance call......:floorlaugh:

and what was with all the watch looking? It gave the impression this hearing was a big ole waste of his time.

You're right. Because let's be honest if it was JB calling any of us I'm sure we would be hitting "ignore" as well.

The case HHJP was referring to was Florida v. Rolling.... Danny Rolling.

He killed 5 University of Florida students in Gainesville, FL in 1990, as well as 3 others from Shreveport. He eventually pled guilty, but they did choose his penalty phase jury from right there in Gainesville...I lived in Gainesville during the murders/trial. It was HUGE.

He has since been executed.... good riddance.

I think HHJP ws trying to get across to Baez that even Rolling got a fair trial right there in Gainesville where he killed 5 of his victims! Take a hint, Baez!!!!! :banghead:

Rolling also had an opportunity to give closure to other families before his execution by telling LE more info about other cases and he chose NOT to. Don't ask for a link...I don't have one because there isn't one.

It was a PERFECT reference to offer for JB's consideration.....I had discussed that specific case relative to the KC case as far as change of venue in the last few months with a few people (nonaffiliated with the case to be CLEAR). Ummmm did someone share?????
 
After the hearing, KB followed the defense out into the hallway. From inside the courtroom you could hear CM yelling John Allen! Get these people away from me. So the rest of the audience goes into the hallway to see what the commotion is all about. KB is asking questions of the defense regarding false statements to the court and CM is bumping her post-bunionectomy-shoe walker with his brief case. He calls her an a$$hole and gets on the elevator. She follows him and a deputy comes between them and indicates that she must get off the elevator.
Sgt Allen and another deputy are sitting in the front row behind the prosecution during the hearing. They wouldn't tell KB what they were there for. After the hearing JB and CM come up to them and talk. I think I heard that they promised to get some papers to them. I heard the word polygraph, but I don't know the context nor do I know who said that. The defense left the building without an escort of any kind. Sgt Allen and his co-worker left with the prosecution.

I keeping getting images of JB at this convention chasing his supposed experts down hallways as they desperately try to avoid all contact. JB popping out from behind potted plants in the dining room, stalking their housekeepers to determine if they are in there rooms ignoring his plaintiff knocking or if they are truly out right now.

I am sorry, I have the giggles.

I think he was checking the time for how long he could go before anyone noticed he had his hearing aid turned off. :great:
