I think this is a good idea. I think it would be more user friendly (albeit more work for the poster) if a link was included for each UID so we could just click the link and be able to view the UID in question.

That said - thank you for all the hard work you have been putting into this NMK's!

Links would be good, but can be hard with Doe, especially when they start switching cases from Hot Cases to regular files. I know it could be more user friendly, but it has to be a little bit typer friendly too.
If both Doe Network and Namus didn't have search functions, I would link each one. But, since some of these are still hot cases for Doe, when that changes, if I don't catch the switch, the only way to find them will be search Doe for the Hot Case number.
This way, if people search for the newly posted cases, when a UID case is posted we already know who it isn't.
I'm also trying to get Namus utilized a little more, since a lot of these cases are coming in with only a Doe link, and there is more info on many of them on Namus (sometimes conflicting, which is a pain.) And a lot of the cases that already have some ruleouts aren't listed on Doe. (Not slamming them, there are some on Doe that aren't in Namus yet, either, but Doe doesn't usually list the rule outs where they can be accessed.)
