I'll tell you one thing, if I were an investigative reporter in that room I'd have walked out and then really started digging before I'd genuflect and bow to Kaine's agenda. I mean seriously, who does he think he is?
AND AND...why didn't they start holding these "conferences" the day of or after Kyron disappearance when it could have had the most impact???
I do not think I have ever seen anyone try to control the media like KH has. Hummm.
This whole thing is actually starting to annoy me. :furious: It is like this family is playing a game.
The statement wasn't what I expected, but then I have the strong feeling it was not directed at me. It was a desperate measure to do something to try to get Kyron back. I feel for DY, because that must have been incredibly hard to do, to deliver. I don't even want to analyze it, though I could. Since the horror going on isn't about me, I don't take offense at what they feel they have to do to try to save their little boy, if there is any chance at all they can. They owe me nothing and him everything, and his life is at stake. The press will attend to their own hurt feelings, and will be fine as long as they have a story.
I don't see any evidence that the Oregonian was thrown out. Does anybody see anything other than the WW article? Nothing in the Oregonian's report seems to indicate that.
I would like to ask anyone who knows this answer to plaease answer me....
Do we know 100% that Terri Horman had her cell phone that day?
I know her cell phone was pinging, but who had it?

But then came Shane Kavanaugh and Bryan Denson of The Oregonian.
Horman said the family didnt like The Oregonians coverage and wanted them to leave. Horman said the daily had failed to be a team player.
This is a team, and if were not going to play as a team, theres no point in being here, Horman said. This is about Kyron.
Denson objected, saying hes new to the story and after 28 years in journalism hes a pretty good reporter. But there was no arguing. The family wanted The O gone, and a woman who said shes a manager at the church escorted them out. The biggest newspaper in the state had been eighty-sixed.
Team player????
Excuse me, this is the media. They aren't supposed to be on anyone's "team". When that was said, every reporter in the room should have walked out.
I don't think there is official statement that her phone pinged on the Island. It was, I think, WW.

Investigators have reportedly reviewed Terri Horman's cell phone records and given her a second polygraph exam.
If they really think that Kyron is alive, why not appeal to whoever has him as well as to Terri?
Also, both The Oregonian and WW printed pieces about Kaine Horman's troubled past, with regard to Desiree Young and her leaving him when she was 8 months pregnant and filing a RO against him.
Not being a team player could merely be truthful reporting about his own less than stellar past. I say what's good for the goose (Terri, of course), is good for the gander. Kaine obviously disagrees.
Listen up. You need to look at Kyron. Focus on Kyron.
Don't look at me. Don't look at us. Well, I guess you can look at her now - but only if you leave us out of it. So no divorce questions. nuh uh.
We're a team. There is no I in team. There is no WW in team. There is a T in team. Actually, there used to be two T's in Team, but we got rid of Terri, because well...that's for us to know and for you to just accept. Anyway there is only one T in Team and we went with the detective.
By the way, LE manages our team, and they do a great job. Oh, and, Strawberries and Bees! You will want to know that to be on this team.
Now broadcast this:
Terri, you're off our team. We're sick and tired of this hide and seek game you are playing with Kyron. We're done with it, bring him home for dinner now. Everybody else, keep looking for Kyron.
Thank you. Come back Monday. If you've been a team player over the weekend, we'll tell you his shoe size.
IMO, Message got across. Loud & clear. I just wish, for their sakes, they had let some fancy PR dude deliver it so they could just be the parents.
