IMO Mason was the wrong attorney to question Beasley...
the DT would have been better to have Dorothy do that..but it must be Mason's area of experience more than hers...but her style would have been better suited for that Cross IMO.

As a woman..Mr Mason's condescending tone towards a woman is not going to win support from the female jurors IMO

As a man..Mr Mason's condenscending tone towards any witness is not going to win support from any jurors.

First of all Mason failed by asking the lady detective about her speaking with Yuri when in fact she had not. They want to discredit Yuri in the worst way. And you don't ask a question only to be shot down that you are wrong. No she didn't talk to Yuri. Mason has seen better days in the courtroom it really is long past due time for him to retire. He is not effective with his nastiness. Not while representing this client. If she was more sympathetic and it appeared that LE had abused their powers then this approach works. But not with this client. The DT needs to win over the approval of the jury not further alienate it by their tactics. MOO
