Oh my goodness. So happy to jump on here this morning and see this news! Not happy they are searching for remains but happy that it seems progress is being made and they seem confident in their search!

Never forgot this lady! I am hoping she is found and justice will be served x

Police say they have a number of persons of interest. Novy's husband John Chardon is still one of them. @GCBulletin http://tinyurl.com/odnnchm
Could this property be connected to the man whose homes backyard was dugup for the vehicles?
I cant recall was anything said about the results of forensic testing on those?
Also wasnt it mentioned they only found partial cars?

Yes there were results, and details of the cars - they're all back in the thread

The guy whose backyard was dug up is Dave Babbington.

"Investigators descended on Dave Babbington's Mount Nathan home on Tuesday evening .... "

"He would not say whether the man residing at the house was a suspect in Ms Chardon's disappearance."

Detective Superintendent David Hutchinson said an extensive search was being carried out at the Advancetown property.

"I think the fact that we're here searching this property almost two years after Novy (disappeared) is a testament to the fact that we haven't given in on this investigation.

It's been going on for two years now and we've had detectives from the local Coomera CIB and the homicide squad attached to the investigation for the whole period.

Two years, on Feb 6.. not long away now.

The police certainly have not been lax, when it comes to investigating Novy's case - or her husband.

There's no way Chardon was not behind this, IMO. If they get one of the lackeys, there's a good chance he'll talk.

I can’t go into detail other than to say we have connected this property to a person of interest,’’ Supt Hutchinson said

“We have reasonable grounds to believe the person of interest had connections to this property at the relevant time.’’

Supt Hutchinson said the development was testament to the dedication of police in solving the suspected homicide of Mrs Chardon

There is a $250,000 reward on offer (for information on Mrs Chardon’s disappearance) and also an indemnity for anybody who maybe was involved in the offence but didn’t commit the crime,’’ he said.

“We have a number of persons of interest and we are convinced there are a number of people in the community who know what happened to Novy.’’

^ Considering Chardon apparently hobnobbed with drug addicts and the like, I'm guessing *one* of them might want that 250 grand and a get out of jail free card.
